++ "Hear No..." ++
"You've no reason to fear me, my dear, dry those tears."
The little girl in front of him sobbed, confused and scared. She didn't recognize the man in front of her, but she knew what a bad man looked like when she saw one, she knew when she opened the door. She didn't mean it, really she didn't. Mommy was making dinner and Daddy was setting the table, so when a knock came at the door she only wanted to help, that's all. But instead of slamming it shut again, she froze at the sight of him, giving the man with the strange half-mask instant access. If she didn't know then, she definitely knew now - yes, this was a bad man.
"I'm only here to guide you, teach you such things that your disgusting parents have refused to."
The bad man became enraged again, just like when he had burst through the door. This time he turned back around to where Mommy was, backhanding her across the face and causing her to fall back to the wood floors with a loud thud. This time her eyes closed and she didn't get back up. The little girl screamed and tried to run, but the bad man was so fast, he caught her without much of a fight.
"What's your name, sweetheart?"
She was frightened, but Daddy always told her to be brave in the face of danger. It was so hard though, and the salty tears wouldn't stop falling from her eyes. She sniffed a little, and through tears managed to muster a single word.
"Annie..."
She cried through her now snot-covered mouth. The bad man knelt down in front of her and she tried her best to stay strong, hold back the tears. In all the years the years that came afterwards, she'd never forget the amount of anger she saw in his eyes as he looked into hers. Despite the amount of rage she saw, she'd always secretly admire his ability to stay calm through it all. He knew exactly what he came here to do.
"I'm here for you, Annie, to save your life."
He reached his hand forward, wiping away one of her tears as it fell. Annie squirmed, her feet glued to the floor out of fear. Even if she wanted to run away now, she couldn't.
"Your parents have built this fake castle of glass around you, making you believe that this is what the rest of your life holds for you. It may for a long time, but all this does is give you a false bravado, give you a belief that everything in your life is just going to work out. Whether you have to throw some money at it, use your well connected parents, or some other ridiculous way. Then you'll get yourself into a situation you can't use your influence on, that you can't buy your way out of, and some guy like me is going to gut you like a fish. You simply don't have the life experience to handle someone like the Architect of Ultraviolence."
The bad man stood up on his feet, slowly walking over to where Mommy lay on the floor, her eyes still shut.
"Don't be like Lord Blake, Annie."
He shook his head at her before turning his head towards the camera for the first time.
"Up until now Lord, the only thing I've done to you is act as the force of reality. Your whole life you've been in this little shell that's protected your from the horrors of everyday life, only because you were born with looks and money. Since you've come into contact with me you've found yourself face down on the ground more than a few times, you've found yourself fearing for your life, and you've found yourself in a losing battle. Welcome to reality, Lord, the kind of life pain you'd feel if you would have been born to different parents."
The bad man walked over to their table where he had left a hammer, picking it up and playing around with it a little. He tossed it into the air and caught it on the way back down.
"I really did enjoy story time, I did, but at the end of the day they're just stories. Does your little sorority tale actually apply to the situation at hand? The fact you think it does only proves further just how delusional the dollar sign has made you. People think I'm the fucked up one, but it's you, Lord, you're the one with shade over your eyes. You're not going to be able to get me kicked out of RSW, and you sure as hell aren't going to take me out back and beat the hell out of me. Comparing me to some other kid who wanted to be a part of some douchebag clique is just about the worst thing you can do at Deception. You're in over your heard on this one, Lord."
He took the hammer, walking to the far wall of the room where for the first time, the camera can see a man kneeling on the ground, his hand nailed to the wall. He appears to be unconscious. Archer uses the back of the hammer to forcefully pull the nail out. There's little noise from the unconscious man.
"I may have done a lot of things to you and Raven in darkness to add in a little fun, but don't forget about the things I've done to you in the light. Another big part of reality that money and influence has protected you from is failure, but you had a small taste of that on Vendetta. You wanted to save Raven from my clutches, so much that you were willing to take Mondae up on her offer. These are the kind of children that other wrestler's breed. It took all three of you, and still you all fell. Mondae, handcuffed to the other side of the ring, and you knocked out cold, bleeding from that light tube as I choke the life from little Raven..."
Daddy was beginning to stir a little, and so the bad man took ahold of his arm. He put pressure onto the arm, and made Daddy kneel down in front of him.
"It was smart of you to send her away, she won't be a distraction at Deception, but she's already been taught some hard life lessons here in RSW. Now it's your turn, Lord. I know you want the Supreme Championship, but after you're stripped of everything that comes with being a Blake - what's left? Who's left? Deception will be your biggest lesson yet, and you'll continue learning it as I force you to watch me carry around the Supreme Championship."
He twisted Daddy's arm and held it up at an angle, Daddy yelled. The bad man paused for a second, taking the time to look over at Annie and make sure she was watching the whole thing.
"You can thank Lord Blake for this, Annie."
SNAP.
She turned her head towards the floor, pressing her hands firmly against her ears to drown out the screams.
