"Pre-Match Talk & Tacos" -- Deception Three.

PRE-MATCH TALK & TACOS

SFO. San Francisco International Airport is where we open the video. Today is Thursday and it's half-past noon currently. The passenger pick up section of the airport is pretty quiet, only two cars and a taxi cab here. Sitting behind the wheel of one of the aforementioned cars is RSW star, Hailey Banks. The Arizonian sits comfortably in the car, her blonde hair pulled back into a ponytail. She quickly moves her thumbs on the screen of her iPhone as she sends out text messages at the speed of light.

Tonight was a big night for Hailey. It was her debut match in the RSW and it is a battle royal match for the Absolute Championship. Hailey was out sized, outweighed, and out powered by all of her opponents. She would have to make up ground using her technique, speed and the experience she’s earned competing in Mexico. She knew all of this and she was going to give her best efforts in order to successfully complete her first match and walk out as the Absolute Champion. Sure, she would have to go through one of her best friends in order to do so, but that was the price to pay. Aiden understood what was on the line and he had every intention of doing the same.

A few minutes would pass before she put her phone aside, lifting her head and looking around. It was at that moment that a huge smile crossed over her face. She quickly pushed her driver's door open and exited the vehicle. She quickly hurried around the car, letting out an excited squeak as she did. “Raavvveeee!!” She let out happily. She met her best friend, Raven MacDemare on the curb as she exited the airport dragging a wheeled bag behind her. Raven let the bag go and the two friends embraced in a hug.

“I thought you were going to miss Deception for sure!” Hailey said as the hug was released.

“Lord doesn't want me here, but I wouldn't miss this for anything! Lord fighting Archer and you and Aiden debuting, I would be a bad friend for not being here.”

“Oh, Rave. You, a bad friend? Never!” Hailey assured her, reaching out to take her bag. The two walked to the trunk of the car which Hailey would open and place Raven’s bags in before giving the trunk a good slam close. The two separated to either side of the car where they climbed in before departing.

“So how are you feeling?” Hailey asked Raven, turning to look at her. Raven kept her eyes focused straight ahead, letting everything that happened come back to her. “I’m okay, Hails. It was good to get away for a little while. You didn't tell Lord you're picking me up, did you?” .. “No.” .. “Okay, I wanted to surprise him.” Raven smiled as her thoughts jumped back to her boyfriend. “What about you? Are you ready for tonight?”

There was no hesitation from Hailey, “More than ready! I feel good about tonight, Rave. I know the boys are already counting me out of this because of the obvious, but I'll have to teach them never to underestimate someone because of their size or sex. I’m twice the wrestler of any of them and to look down on me because of my va-jayjay isn’t right, you know? I have a real opportunity to become the first female champion in the history of this company, Rave, but all people see when they look at me is tits and ass. I mean. I know I’m hot, but I can also kick ass in the ring. I did so in Mexico for a couple of years and won a title in a predominantly male division.  I can do the same here, too.”

“Def, girl. I watched your tapes from Mexico and you know what you’re doing in there.” Raven responded, building Hailey’s motivation. Hailey smiled hearing her friend compliment her. “It’s going to be a difficult match, I’m not that foolish to believe otherwise. Bryce Albright is a strong, dominant mat wrestler and has had his fair share of big moments in this company. Genocide is merciless and I’m sure he would want nothing more than my gorgeous face bloody under his fists. Aaros, Cartwright and Enoch are all wild cards in the match, no one knows what to expect from them. I hear Arthur Thomas is quite the wrestler when he’s awake. And then there’s Aiden, who knows me better than anyone in this match. And for as good, or as vicious as Bryce and Genocide may be - I still think of Aiden as my biggest threat in this match, just because of the level of familiarity there.”

Raven nodded her head along to what Hailey said, replying only once Hailey was finished. “How is Aiden? I haven’t seen him since the night you guys arrived in San Francisco.” Raven turned her head, her brown eyes falling to Hailey. Hailey took a moment, her expression never changing and her eyes never moving from the road. “Aiden is… Aiden. We got together the other night, played some pong at a frat party and talked over the match a little before he left with some girl.”

“Oh man. Maybe stop me next time, Hails.”, came from the car - neither Hailey or Raven saying it. As soon as they heard it though, they both let out a scream, Hailey’s eyes widening and her body reacted in a sudden jolt that caused her to swerve into the next lane, nearly hitting another car!

Almost instantly though, Hailey pulled it back into her lane before looking over her shoulder at Aidan. Her eyes narrowed as he sat up. By the disheveled hairdo, it would appear as if he had just woken up. He pulled himself up to sit, swinging his legs around and onto the floorboard of the car. “Aiden. What the frig are you doing back there!? You almost gave me and Rave a heart attack!”

Aiden ran a hand through his hair before looking up at Hailey and Raven, who also was looking back at him. Hailey had turned to focus on the road again by the time that Aiden answered, “It was a long, long, night and there was no way I could go back home to her. So I went to your place.” .. “Didn’t quite make it, did’ja?” .. “Your car was the next best option.” Aiden turned his attention to Raven, “Hey aren't you supposed to be in Paris or something?”

Raven, too, turned around and settled back in her seat. “Couldn't miss the big night!” she replied. Hailey was next to chime in, “Okay guys! I'm hungry, let's get some tacos!” .. “I'm so in!” Raven replied followed by Aiden's, “Sure, sounds good.”

“It was my pre match ritual in Mexico. Can't go changing things now, can I?” Hailey said. She smiled, she always smiled. The video would end there.
