Dearest Ready Set Wrestle,
I've watched the tapes hundred of times, and surely, I'll watch them hundreds more before I ever truly understand what occurred at Deception. A travesty, no doubt. I continue watching them, because they make my blood boil, my skin crawl, and to do that to a man like me is a prize in of itself. I'm in shock.
Lord Blake, grasping the RSW Supreme Championship. While it's true, I may have initially despised the thought of carrying around a trivial, polished plate of metal, I had come to enjoy the idea of the Architect of Ultraviolence with the belt. Mainly for what it would mean. It would have been a giant smash of a fluorescent light tube to anyone with a privileged background and a well-connected family. It would have been a warning to anyone who dared step in my path. Well, I suppose that's a good thing. The only warning now is the look on my face, and you may not even get a chance to see that before you end up face to the floor.
But money and power prevailed and I've got to sit here, looking at that disgusting smug on Lord's face. That belt is tainted with the stench of green paper. But my original goal walking into this place is alive and well, now more than ever. If I thought Lord would crumble if denied the chance to hold the RSW Supreme Championship, I could only imagine what taking it away from him would accomplish. Like taking away a favorite toy from a child.
Get ready to cry, Lord. Get ready to beg for mercy.
RSW, despite Lord receiving the Supreme Championship, you've been rather kind to me. Giving me Raven MacDemare in the semi-finals of the tournament was golden. I also see your attempt to apologize in giving me Aiden Van't Hoff on the Vendetta directly following Deception. I accept your apology, RSW, and have no fear that I'll take this gift and make the most of it. I've been dreaming of it all week.
The biggest mistake Aiden Van't Hoff has made is believing he is the same as Lord Blake. They may be cut from the same cloth and have that same stupid little grin, but they're not one in the same. The way I understand it, little Aiden basically followed Lord into the business to begin with. Lord has a well-connected family in the industry, he was destined to become the man he is today but Aiden chose it. He chose trying to be a carbon copy of Lord Blake...what a miserable existence and a waste of a life.
I pity you Aiden, because you don't have your own identity, you had to go and steal someone else's. But you're not Lord, Aiden, you're not even half of Lord. Lord and I were both undefeated in RSW up until our showdown at Deception, whereas you couldn't even cut it in your first match. I know, I know, some sort of excuse as to how it was a battle royal and that doesn't prove anything. So much stimuli coming at you from every which way out of the darkness, never relenting, just continuing until you're beaten.
But, my dear boy, don't you know?
That's exactly what it's like to be in the ring with me - didn't Lord tell you anything? I'm a force that doesn't stop, from every angle, seeing your weaknesses and narrowing in on them. I could tell from the moment you opened your mouth that you had no clue who you'd be getting in the ring with. Your bimbo' seems to have a clue, why not you?
It's a shame, Lord doesn't like you enough to get you prepared. Lord doesn't even think highly enough of you to make some sort of deal to protect you the way he did with young Ravey. Funny thing is, Raven grew up with one hell of a wrestler, and you're some snot-nosed brat who waddled after his best friend for something to do. You easily need more help than Raven ever did. You'll never be able to outlast me, and once you realize exactly who I am inside that ring, you won't be able to remain composed. You'll panic, you'll falter, and you're going to end up getting yourself hurt.
Take a look at our match on Vendetta, Lord, and remember who your best friend used to be before I destroyed him.
With Anticipation,
ARCHER
