"How long do you think the MGM are gonna keep up with this whole comedy shtick?"
"Well, since they are two women who constantly gloat themselves and think that everything about them is perfect, I'd say that they will continue on for a couple of the days."
"Sheesh. This is going to be headache inducing."
Devin Kendrick glanced over at Hanalei Brightly, who had her arms crossed and was pacing back and forth within the room. The entire place was a complete mess as it was filled with various papers and information in regards to all of the wrestlers in RSW. Hanalei's eyes were particularly fixated on a whiteboard that was right in front of her. Her blue eyes seemed to be hard-rimmed and focused as she looked at the pictures of Arianny Blake and Mondae Chaos with intensity. The MGM were certainly beginning to get into Hanalei's mind, even if she didn't want to admit it openly. After all, they were able to find out about Hanalei's past vices, and the young woman became frustrated. Arianny and Mondae definitely knew how to play their cards right when it came to the Petty Game.
Hanalei honestly couldn't believe that she was allowing for those two women to affect her like that. This was exactly what they wanted. They wanted to press all of Brightly's buttons, and they were looking to make the young woman self destruct. Still, she shouldn't let them do that to her. Not right now, especially when she is supposed to be planning out her revolution. The mind games need to be put to the side for later.
"Tell me about it," Hanalei said with a groan and an eye roll. "And it's only going to progress as our match approaches."
"You think Lord Blake would be on board joining us?" Devin asked, rubbing his eyes. He had spent the majority of the day researching the MGM, trying to find any kind of substantial information that could be used against them. Hanalei stopped in her tracks, looking at the man with a "Are you serious?" kind of expression. She then scoffed and laughed, shaking her head.
"Only in your dreams. That dude definitely sees me as a liability. Plus, he thinks that I am...'loopy'. There's no way in Hell that he's going to want to take part of it."
"Hm, that's a shame," Devin said with a disappointed sigh. "Still, it wouldn't hurt to just ask him."
"No. He's just going to reject our offer." Hanalei bit her bottom lip in frustration, letting out an exasperated sigh of her own. "Hell, no one is going to help us. Everyone either thinks that I'm crazy or they're actually intimidated by that blonde bimbo bitch and her butt buddy that looks as though she could be a serial killer. Besides, I don't even know if I can trust anyone in the RSW. Everyone has questionable motives and I don't think I can fully trust any of them to help us out."
"What about Raven? You helped her out with that Jackson Kendrick guy."
"No way. Raven is a nice girl and all, but she can barely defend herself. In addition, helping her out wasn't even my main focus at the time."
"Alright, what about Jack Owyns? The dude can practically murder the MGM."
"Pfft. Definitely not him. I think that guy might be a little unhinged. He might snap our fucking necks in a heartbeat."
"Aiden Van't Hoff? He's rich and can provide us with a lot of resources."
"Aiden Van't Who?"
"...Arthur Thomas...?"
"Devin, go kill yourself. Please."
Devin threw his hands up in defeat, finally realizing that none of his suggestions would ever receive Hanalei's stamp of approval.
"You know what? Fine. I give up. I just hope that someone does go out of their way to help us out, because we seriously cannot to do this all by ourselves, Hana."
"We don't need the help," Hanalei responded bluntly, placing her hand on the table. Her eyes scanned the various documents that were on the surface. "If anyone miraculously decides to lend us their assistance, then that's cool. However, it won't be the end of the world if everyone wants to tuck their tails between their legs and pussy out. The revolution will carry on and nothing will ever stop it."
"Whatever you say, Hanalei..."
"Just trust me, Devin," Hanalei then glanced at the man, speaking confidently. "Change will be coming. It's going to happen."
