Bryce Albright was in an elevator at work after a meeting. The elevator was empty so Bryce decided to play Samantha's latest video. A response, in part, to Bryce's non-existent disrespect. Bryce repeats one line over and over again. "... I'm not as dumb as you seem to think."
Bryce let out a snicker under his breath and gave a small grin that faded quickly. Still looking at the phone he responds to her as if she could hear him; completely ignoring the camera man that is filming this whole thing. "So that is what people think about Bryce Albright? Clearly, because he does not agree with everyone's choices in life, he assumes everyone is dumb. It's funny for two reasons: one, I said the exact opposite. Two, your 'grams' always says 'when you assume, you make and ass out of u and me'." Bryce pauses for a moment and snaps his head upward to look into the camera. "I suppose I was wrong about you. I was willing to catch you when you fell out of the nest and failed to flap your wings. I offered you a place where you would be accepted. I commended you, held you to a higher standard than the rest of the miscreants in this dive. I said you had one chance to impress me and that chance has been spit upon. " He spins his phone in his hand and inserts it into the pocket of his suit pants in a single swift action while never breaking eye contact with the camera. "Statistically, the moves you do in the ring have a higher rate of injury than my brand of wrestling. I take people down and I wear them down. I do not treat them as a crash pad when I fail to fly among the falcons and eagles. I do not pose the risk of landing on my neck like Jesse Sorensen only to blame a company for injuries I have inflicted upon myself. What you did was make a generalized statement that, upon further investigation, holds no merit. You are young but not stupid, so stop acting like it!"
Bryce stretched his neck and calmed himself down. "Now allow me to explain why I failed to mention Aiden Van Thoff when last I spoke; I didn't forget about him. When first he spoke the most I got out of him was..." Bryce sighs. "'He's beaten me once and that will never happen again'. In protest I refused to let his name cross my lips until he had more to say. I waited until he actually produced some content. He has, and now I will speak to it. Aiden is the type of person that has never lost in his life until he lost to me. He really wanted that win against Archer, but as the saying goes: the more you want something the less attainable it becomes. It truly is a shame Aiden was handed his second loss. Now he is fighting with his back against the wall; that makes him dangerous. He has nothing to lose and everything to gain; he makes a good point though. I already lost against Jace O'Bryan, and I lost against Mundane Chaos. A loss is a loss, he says. My sights never left the Bay Area Championship, though. So when asked if I had what it takes to hold all three titles I gave the best answer I could. I said my sights were on Zero then on Jace. I cannot answer the question without being in a position to be asked such a question. I was going to take it one step at a time. So Jace chimes in and I challenge him. He -pardon my language- bitches out. I made the Champion bitch out. I take on all comers, so I think that earns me the right to have a rematch for that title." The elevator doors open and Bryce walks out being followed by the camera. "As for Mundane, go back and watch the archived footage. The events that took place had nothing to do with intelligence or distractions. The referee was taken down and I tried to wake him up. That's when Arianny kicked me right in the Bryce Tags. Get your facts straight, brah. Just like Samantha, you made a generalized statement with no merit. To bad you are not smart enough to know better." Bryce sighs and walks to his office. "Sorry guys, you just can't beat an Albright."
