HARRINGTON RESPONDS TO CRITICS DURING PROMOTIONAL INTERVIEW
Written by Sanjay Vishabalay
RSW Fighter, Nate Harrington, hit back at critics during an interview with local San Francisco news outlet, ABC 7.
The interview took place this lunch time as part of a promotional chat for the small wrestling outfit, ahead of their next event this Thursday.
You can see the video below. Alternatively, the transcript is located under the clip.
ABC: “Critics are saying that you’ve done nothing but overlook [Richard Scaufield] this week and hurt the significance of your big return.”
Nate: “Critics can say what they like, but the bottom line is I’m the one standing here with a microphone shoved in his face promoting the fact that there’s about to be a match. Dick [Scaufield] has done nothing but run his mouth like a scolded twelve-year-old, throwing out lame insult after lame insult. It’s embarrassing. The RSW audience is filled with grown-ass men who came to see a fight. All I’ve done is tell them exactly what to expect and the reason they can expect it. I’ve done my homework on a guy who’s done absolutely f**king nothing in this business; while he doesn’t even have the decency to do his homework on me – that’s a big f**king mistake on his part; a rookie error - and he’ll pay the price for that this Thursday.”
ABC: “You’ve spoken about your strengths all week long and there’s plenty of them, but what about [Richard Scaufield’s] strengths? Experts talk about his speed and aerial advantage, as well as his superior intelligence. It’s also said that he’s got superior stamina and endurance.”
Nate: “Experts talk about it, but you know who didn’t talk about it? Dick himself. He spent too much time making crude f**king comments and innuendos about things that don’t matter and not enough time focusing on his strengths. Then he wants to talk about how I’m overlooking him? F**k that, I’ve not overlooked a damn thing. I know where his strengths lie and I’ve got answers for every one of them.”
ABC: “And what are those answers?”
Nate: “Let’s just say that, on Thursday, [Richard Scaufield] will come to find that his speed means nothing when he’s struggling to f**king breathe from punches to the rib cage and kicks to those knees. He’ll come to find that aerial abilities count for sh*t when he can’t walk because I’ve broken one of his f**king knee caps. Fight or flight is the default instinct in every one of us and I’ve proven that, in every case, I f**king fight. Where’s his track record? Nowhere. He’s got no previous. So when he’s standing across the ring from an undefeated animal like me, and he realises that his punches aren’t touching me, and my punches are making him want to f**king hurl his guts up, that fight or flight instinct takes over; the heart starts racing. It’s one thing to have great conditioning in a training environment. Show me that inside the ring with me and then we’ll talk. Until then, he’s got f**king nothing to concern me with.”
ABC: “What about the superior intelligence?”
Nate: “What about it? We’re talking about a f**king moron who’s trained himself to have a sleeper hold as one of his signature moves but has no submission game at all. How intelligent can this f**king clown really be? Of course, I say this sort of stuff and I’m called out for burying him. I’m called out for overlooking him. F**k that. It’s not my job to talk [Richard Scaufield] up. That’s his job and he couldn’t even do it. Overlooking someone is when you ignore the facts and focus on the bullsh*t trash talk like he’s done for the past week or so. As for burying him? I’m out here telling everyone to watch him; to watch what I f**king do to him on my rise through the RSW ranks. I’m about to make that guy a star by beating the cum from his stomach. He talks about having heart, having desire – f**king terrific. I’ll have all the shit that makes a difference.”
