Dear RSW,
I’m not sure how I should title this. Do I need something witty or should I just get to the point? Maybe just “An Open Letter to RSW” will do. Will people even read it? Piss off. Of course people will read it. People consume so much information these days - it’s the information age, remember? I’m sure it will just get stirred up into whatever fuckin’ top ten buzzfeed list is the current trend this week. But I hope the point sticks with em’ because it’s an important one. I want everyone reading this to know that - if you haven’t had the point drilled into your head yet - this ladder match means everything to me.
I’m sure others have run down the competitors one by one and gave a little spiel about how they are gonna beat them or how much better they are than them. That’s all fine. That’s all dandy. But I’ve been doing this for far too long to care about who is in the match. I know Chris Callum is. I know Emma Douglas is. I know The Cruz is. I could go on and on but it’s mute to do so. Everyone in it has a case to be made as to why they should win. Nobody really cares. They care about seeing bodies crashing to the mat from a ladder. They care about the pure carnage of seeing somebody slammed onto the cold, hard steel. The fans are blood thirsty animals. It’s actually quite pathetic if you ask me. It’s why I hate this gimmick shit. It’s not about who is more talented. It’s about who can, in the midst of all out war, slip away for five seconds and grab a briefcase.
Well, earth to RSW - that snake in the grass who slips away and grabs one of the prizes above the ring, yeah, like the Backstreet Boys said - it's gonna be me. Or was that Nsync? Whatever. The point is I want everyone in the match who may read this to know my plan. I’m not Donald Trump. I’m not gonna bluff you all and say I have a plan when I really don't. When you all are too busy in a dick measuring contest trying to inflict more pain on the other, I’m going to walk right through the back door to victory. But how one might ask? How do you expect to earn victory so easily?
Because, I’m Alexis Terry.
I’ve been doing this longer. I’m smarter. I’m faster. I’m quite frankly better. And no, those aren’t false claims. Those aren’t just words I’m typing out. They are facts. I know RSW has tons of young, up and coming talent. I know them signing somebody in their 40’s took a lot of people by surprise. But age is just a number. It doesn’t change the fact that I’m the best pound for pound competitor on the roster. Male. Female. Don’t matter. I’ll beat them all.
This Thursday, live from San Francisco, things change. I know it may be a bit hard to swallow at first. I know having a new commander in chief sounds terrifying. But, like mommy bangin’ the hot neighbor, you will get use to it. As long as you don’t tell daddy and keep your mouth shut things will be fine. Life changes. Evolution is not a theory. In this case, it’s a fact. RSW is going to become the single biggest wrestling promotion on the planet and Alexis Terry is going to be the one behind the wheel and it starts at Screamfest.
It doesn’t matter what case I grab. If it’s for an Absolute Title, Bay Area, or even a Supreme Championship match the end game remains the same. Collecting Championships is only the start of the plan. My journey will only end with me sitting on my throne watching peasants kneel before me. I know people like Arianny Blake, Lord Blake, and even Mondae Chaos walk around with chips on their shoulder thinking they are the best of the best. It makes me chuckle.
In just a few short days RSW will be a difficult choice. It is a decision that will change the fabric of reality as we know it. It’s going to be bigger than even the Presidential election. Should RSW stand in solidarity as I climb the ladder, grab a case, and make history? Or, will you crumble to public standards and continue to deal with the same old song and dance?
Standing with me is standing for change. RSW needs change. RSW needs to evolve.
Make RSW Great Again.
Yours truly,
Alexis
