RSW Wrestling and Lord Blake like this
Post by Hanalei Brightly on Nov 2, 2016 1:04:39 GMT
------------------------------------------
Static. The screen flickered violently as the black-and-white lines obscure the view of whatever it is that was going to present itself on screen. However, within a few seconds the scene would go black before any semblance of an image would be displayed for the viewer to see. The words "Join The Revolution" flashed briefly before the scene transitioned to an overhead view of The Arena at night time. There was a crowd at front, shouting and chanting at the people were all packed together as a group. As the shot panned down to capture some of these people, the anti-MGM signs could be seen throughout as the people chanted in unison.
"WE WANT CHANGE!"
Yes, The Revolution has gained full traction, and the leader of it was right out in front of everyone, leading the charge. The eyes of Hanalei Brightly surveyed the crowd, grinning from ear to ear as she seemed to be impressed by the passion that poured out of everyone. This kind of passion was needed, but of course, it would be up to Hanalei to be the one to see to it that change finally occurs in the RSW. She was finally going to meet Arianny DeLisle in the ring one on one with nobody else to intervene.
This was it. It was now or never as this match could quiet possibly be the last time Hanalei will ever have a shot at changing the RSW for the better. The future of the company solely depended on her, and while the thought of it could make anyone nervous, the defiant leader was more than ready to step in the ring and beat Arianny.
"Since day one I've made it my mission to rid this place of every despicable thing that had plagued it," The woman said as she addressed the crowd. "Professional wrestling has changed drastically for the worst, and it seemed like it would only continue to do so if people continued to allow that to happen. However, I am appreciative of the fact that people are finally waking up and realizing that the corruption that has tainted this industry has got to go."
The crowd cheered in support of Hanalei, but the blonde would raise her hand up as a gesture for them to become silent. As if on cue, the people grew quiet as the leader of The Revolution continued on with her speech.
"Still, change can only occur when there is immediate action involved, and we cannot progress unless we actually tackle the issue head on. The rallies, interviews and social media posts had been effective, but now is the time where I have to truly have to make my actions speak louder than my words. At Screamfest, I will be taking on the leader of the Mean Girl Mafia herself: Arianny DeLisle."
There was a hint of disdain in the voice of Hanalei Brightly as a more grim expression came across her face. "Arianny is a skilled wrestler, and I certainly know that first hand. Some might even consider this match to be a waste since she and Mondae were able to beat Lord Blake and I back at Vendetta V event by making me submit."
Hanalei sighed and shrugged, closing her eyes momentarily as she collected her thoughts. "However, that hasn't deterred me in the slightest. It is easy for people to toss me to the side because I was unsuccessful in our first encounter, but honestly? The loss has made me grow as a competitor. I will admit that I underestimated Arianny and I wasn't truly ready to face her at that time. With that being said, I've learned from my mistakes and since the loss, I've done everything I could to prepare myself for this match. Bear has especially been helpful to me and he has helped me improve during the past few days. Meanwhile, Arianny is undoubtedly going to be confident going into our match and she will feel as though that I am a lesser competitor than her all because she was able to beat me that one night. She's not going to take any of this seriously, and that will be her downfall. It would be stupid on her part to do so, and it is especially ironic considering that she's the type of woman that is renowned for being so intelligent."
"You see, this isn't a tag team match. It's just me and her going at it. There won't be anyone there to assist her, and that means that she has to take me on all by herself. The complexity of this match is very different to our previous encounter, and while Arianny will feel as though she is leaps and bounds better than me, she is no immortal. She has faults just like anyone else. Don't let her constant self-aggrandizement fool you. She may be fast, but she certainly won't be able to keep up with me. She'll get tired easily and the punishment will get to her more and more as the match goes on. She's like a precious little flower that gets more wilted as conditions continue to grow worse and worse for it. In addition, I can outlast her and I can certainly be frustrating when it comes to my defense game," Hanalei said matter-of-factly, chuckling a bit. "I proudly claim to be the Iron Woman of the RSW and it's with good reason. The princess' constantly-boiling mind will probably explode once the going gets a little too tough for her. She can't keep herself composed for too long, and so it's only a matter of time before that little bomb in her head goes off."
For further emphasis, Hanalei held up her pointer finger and moved it from side to side.
"Tick. Tock. Tick. Tock."
Hanalei smirked, beaming now as the crowd cheered. She finally turned around to face away from them and looked into the camera, having her arms behind her back as the smirk never faded.
"Arianny, your reign of terror is going to end at Screamfest. You may be laughing to yourself right now as you watch this, thinking that this is going to be an easy match for you all because you were able to get the upper hand for one night. However, for our sake, I advise that you change your mindset and actually take this seriously. I've been dying to get my hands on you for weeks and now that I have this opportunity presented to me, I am going to take full advantage of me. Sorry sweetie, but the end is nigh for you."
Hanalei then raised her arm up into the air. and shouted:
"RISE UP!"
"RISE UP," The crowd shouted back, raising their arms into the air as well. Hanalei grinned as she looked into the camera with her eyes seemingly ignited by the passion and determination that coursed through her.
"We are the spark that is going to ignite this Revolution," Hanalei said boldly as the scene began to fade to black. "Change is finally here, and no one is going to stop us."
