As the scene came to life, Candy can be seen jumping up and down on a trampoline with a bunch of younger Sweet Treats(aka fans). Everyone seems to be having a good time as Candy entertains them with a few flips and some funny poses while jumping into the air. Once she notices her boyfriend Deacon Thomas, recording her antics on her cell phone, Candy heads over in that direction and climbs down from the trampoline. With the kids still fooling around in the background, Candy starts to walk away from the noise and begins to speak.
“Did you really think I’d be upset when you saw me?”
Candy questions with a smile on her face.
“Maybe shedding a few tears over my loss at Screamfest? I don’t think so!”
Candy shakes her head as she comes to a stop and goes on speaking.
“Sure, losing was pretty devastating. But all that lasted about five minutes. I mean, what’s the point of being upset or throwing a fit? It’s not going to get me anywhere. Besides, the way I see it...I wasn’t the only one who came up short. There was four briefcases and fourteen competitors. No matter which way you look at it, ten of us were leaving empty-handed. And while I promised I wouldn’t fall short of the goal, I did. There’s nothing I can do to change that now. So what’s the point on dwelling on it?”
Candy shrugs.
“It’s not like there won’t be any more opportunities in the future. Just gotta prove myself worthy first. I have my first chance at doing that on the next Vendetta against Emma Douglas.”
Candy pauses momentarily.
“Hiiiiiii Emmieeeeeeee!”, she gives a quick wave, “Unlike me, I know you are a bit more upset and a lot more angry over this loss. Sure, you can claim otherwise if you want to. That you were just in there to hurt people. But I think we all know better. It has got to be eating you up inside that Ravey Mac ended up with a briefcase, and you did not. And just in knowing that, it is going to cause you to make a mistake.”
Candy sounds pretty confident and serious about that as she continues.
“I know you don’t want to believe that. You probably think you have things all under control. But once we are in the ring together, I believe you are going to see Ravey through me. In case you haven’t noticed, we are pretty comparable. We are both small, cute, and bubbly. So once you mistake me for her, I believe your emotions are going to get the better of you. That anger is going to come bubbling over knowing she outsmarted you. You aren’t going to be able to think straight and it’s going to lead right to your downfall. Because the first mistake you make, I’m going to capitalize on it. And that’ll be that!”
Candy nods some as a determined look crosses her features.
“I’m going to walk out of this match with the victory. I know you won’t make that easy for me. As it is, I know you are very menacing individual and can do a lot of damage. So I’m very much aware that I’ll have to go through hell first. But I’m not really all that frightened by that and won’t let it deter me from what needs to be done.”, her focused eyes remain locked with the phone, “I came here for a reason. And while I hit a bit of a setback at Screamfest, it’s time for me to right the situation and prove that I can make something of myself here.”
Candy gives another brief pause.
“So I hope you’re ready for a Sugar High, Emmie. Because I’m about to leave you on one!”
Candy gives off quite the stare to show that she means business before glancing back over at the trampoline where the kids are still having fun and calling her back.
“Until next time…”
Candy breaks into a grin as she makes a mad dash for the trampoline. Soon after she’s back up there bouncing around like a Mexican jumping bean, the phone is turned off bringing the scene to an end.
