Zero's personal life is a complete mystery as no one really knows who he is. However, his wrestling career is wide known.
Zero began wrestling in Mexico (at a rumored age of seventeen) with a now defunct promotion named Cartel de Lucha Libre. There he has a storied career, collecting the companies Jr. Tag Team Championships twice with partner El Rey Suicida and capturing the Middleweight championship a total of three times. Before the title reigns, though, his career would take off as he helped the companies Técnicos in a battle against a vicious, traveling stable comprised of the top Rudos in Mexico who's purpose was to dominate and take over every promotion they entered. Zero showed how much heart he had in a series of brutal battles, and would earn the respect of not only the Spanish wrestling fans, but of the rest of the athletes in the lockerroom.
Years went by with Zero becoming one of Mexico's top stars, venturing out of Cartel de Lucha Libra and competing in the countries bigger companies such as AAA, all while representing and wearing the CLL banner. His career in Mexico would come to a screeching hault when he faced another top Técnico in Angel Asesino in what promised to be a classic, five-star match between the countries biggest stars. The match was a solid back and forth until Zero applied Asesino in a grounded hammer lock, pulling his free arm up and dropping back quickly with an Ambreaker. The effect of the move snapped Asesino's arm, breaking it and ending his career indefinitely. Immediately the wrestling supporters turned on him.
Companies blacklisted him, and upon returning to Cartel de Lucha Libre - he was informed that he was banned from the company. Angel Asesino was a legend in Mexico, and what happened during their match left a sour taste in everyone's mouth and immediately changed everyone's opinion on Zero.
Enter Miles Larsen.
A business man with a mind for sports and a soft spot for professional wrestling. He happened to be in attendance during the Zero vs Angel Asesino match and was thoroughly impressed with what he saw out of Zero. Upon hearing of the blacklisting and shunning of this luchador, Miles decided that he would reach out to him, offer him his services and bring him across the border to compete in the United States in order to regain the stardom that slipped from his grasp in Mexico. With several ties into the business world, it didn't take long for Miles' reach to come to San Francisco, putting him in contact with the RSW promotion. Picking this company for Zero to begin his career again.
