Orange is the new black, literally. Mondae Chaos was the queen of wearing black. It complimented her porcelain skin perfectly. Yet today she stands before us wearing an orange prison jumpsuit. Mondae Chaos and her partner in crime, Arianny Blake were arrested on June 5th, apprehended on their way to the Deathcore Slaughterhouse. Today Mondae walks down the halls towards the visitation area. She looks as ravishing as ever with her dark hair flowing around her shoulders and she has somehow gotten her hands on black eyeshadow for her signature smokey eye look. Other prisoners move out of her way in the halls, not wanting to disturb the Queen on her mission. She arrives at the visitation room and walks to one of the tables in the corner. A small blonde woman is sitting there. As she see's Mondae, she gets up and nods at her before leaving the room. Of course Mondae had a minion save her seat.
The door at the opposite side of the room opens as family members begin to pour in. They find their loved ones and Mondae stares at the door, apprehensive. And then she see's him. Chris Chaos walks through the door with a frown upon his face. Her father is dressed casually in a pair of dad jeans and black polo t-shirt. Although Chris hasn't wrestled for over 15 years, he is still just as fit as the day he retired. The only difference is that his once long locks are now shaved close to his head with some salt and pepper sprinkled throughout. He walks over to the table where Mondae sits. She gets to her feet and hugs him.
"Happy Father's Day." She says with a shrug, before sitting down across from him. Ironically this is probably the last father's day gift Chris had ever wanted. No one hopes to one day visit their only child in prison, yet here they are.
"Are you okay Money? Is anyone giving you a hard time?" Mondae had to choke back a smirk. Mondae and Arianny were devious and exceptionally intelligent. As spoiled rich kids, they were well established in the art of getting what they want. The second they stepped foot into this prison, they laid low and observed. They quickly identified who ran the show, and then devised a plan to overthrow her. Mondae and Arianny spent a few days bribing some inmates with items from commissary (they obviously had their daddies bankroll this) and recruiting rejects who were just looking to feel included. Once they had created their army of inmates, they struck. Numbers are everything. Everyone in the prison now walks on eggshells around our royal highness'. As usual, they reign supreme.
"Daddy, I'm fine. It's really not that bad and I'll be out of here in no time."
"Money, you are in here for some pretty serious offenses! You need to prepare yourself. The judge could easily decide to make an example out of you. You could do hard time." Chris had that stern fatherly look in his eye. He was disappointed but at the same time afraid that his little girl could be spending a long time behind bars.
"I've been doing therapy and my shrink says I had a psychotic break. I talked to the lawyer and she said that because of everything that I went through, she can easily get me off. Have some faith daddy." His daughter's carefree attitude was not helping.
"Mondae Katherine Chaos, how can you tell me to have faith? I turned on the TV and saw you and Ari getting arrested. Trespassing. Kidnapping. Arson. And that isn't even the worst of it. Attempted Murder, Mondae. You tried to kill Jack Owyn's little girl!" His voice was raised, but he was not yelling. Chris did not yell. That was always his wife's specialty.
"He started it!" Mondae blurted out as rage flashed behind her eyes. She caught herself and took a deep breath. In order to keep her inheritance in check and keep daddy happy, she would have to bend the truth slightly. With her best puppy dog eyes, she looked up at her father. "Listen, I am not proud of what I did. I don't even remember it daddy. All I remember is leaving that show and finding Gabe in a puddle of his own blood." Her bottom lip began to quiver as tears began to swim in her eyes. Crying always helped with daddy.
In Deathcore wrestling, Mondae had began a short-lived but passionate romance with Gabe McKearns. He was a giant, bearded man who was recently released from a psychiatric ward. But for some reason to the two hit it off. They were inseparable and with Gabe as her protector, Mondae was as happy as ever. At the last Deathcore show, Gabe McKearns was pushed from the roof and fell to his death. Mondae, Arianny and Dallas discovered the body.
"I was in the match daddy. He left the ring to chase after Devin Hawk and I stayed. I thought he could take care of himself. If I would have left that match and followed him, maybe I could have stopped it. But I didn't. And he's dead. Gabe is gone forever daddy and I don't know how to live in a world without him. I sat in a puddle of his blood that whole night. It took forever for the police to come, for them to remove his body. I felt him go cold. I felt him leave this earth." Tears began to roll down her face. These feelings were real. Mondae did love Gabe and did sit, covered in his blood, until the police came. Chris' face softened as his watched his daughter weep.
"The rest of the week is a blur. I didn't remember anything. Battle Arts, Mackenzie. It didn't start coming back to me until after I was processed. My shrink says it's like PTSD. Losing Gabe was such a shock to my system, that I lost it. I did things I wouldn't normally do and now I'm here. All because Gavin fucking Masteron, that piece of shit, had Gabe murdered. And he is walking the streets freely. He is still wrestling, with that stupid slut Rielle Hawke glued to his hip. And me and Ari are in here rotting away. Our best years are right here, right now and we're trapped." She was so convincing she could be an actress. This was the lie. She remembered every second of all of her crimes and regretted none of it.
Her only regret was that Rielle Hawke, Devin Hawk and Mackenzie Owyns survived her murder attempts. She was great at blowing up buildings, apparently awful at successfully killing someone. Jack Owyns and Gavin Masterson deserved every second of pain that she dealt them. Gavin had Gabe killed. Jack dug up his corpse and left it rotting in the lobby of her penthouse. There was no regret from the mean girls, no remorse.
"If your lawyer says that you have a good shot, then she is probably right. She is the best money can buy. We will do whatever we can to make sure you get out of here." He placed his hands on hers and she wiped away her crocodile tears.
"Oh, I love you daddy. I knew you would understand." He didn't really understand. His daughter left home for the first time ever. She was involved with a man more than 10 years her senior and when he was murdered she went on a psychotic rampage and tried to kill three people. Not exactly something that many parents could wrap their head around. Yet, she was his only child and seeing her in pain, behind bars, was not something he could bear.
Mondae could feel someone watching her. She looked up and saw a man standing near the back of the room. He was tall and gorgeous in a dirty, I'd fuck you in an alley, kind of way. The mystery man wore a pair of jeans and a leather jacket, with his hands folded across his chest. He stared directly at Mondae and when she caught him he didn't look away. What really drew her attention was the absolutely flawless beard that adorned his face. It was the kind of beard that Mondae wanted to sink her hands into.
"What's up with ZZ Top creeping back there?" Chris looked back at the man in the back of the room and back to his daughter.
"That is Braydon Knox. He works with me at Chaos Theory. After everything that happened to you, I sent him out here to keep an eye on you. But before he could get here, you were already arrested. He is sticking around. Once you do get out, whatever you decide to do, I think you're going to need someone to watch you."
Mondae's eyes narrowed back at the man. Oh great, a babysitter.
"Daddy I do not need a babysitter. I am an adult!" Her words had little value since she had left home for just over a month and had ended up committing multiple crimes.
"You just focus on yourself and work on getting out of here. I will focus on everything else."
"Visiting hour is over!" Yelled the guard at the front of the room.
"Money, you keep your head up and work with your shrink. We will get you out of here and then we can deal with your career." Mondae had heard the rumors that herself and Arianny had been blacklisted from professional wrestling in North America. No fed would touch them because of what they had done. Most companies don't want superstars who will murder their opponents friends and children. How bland. But that didn't concern her. Like we've already established, the mean girls always get what they want.
"Thanks daddy. You're the best." She kissed him on the cheek and he headed out of the door with Braydon behind him. Mondae was not impressed with the idea of having a babysitter, but she would have to fight one battle at a time. For now, she would have to continue to convince her shrink that all of her crimes were a cause of PTSD/a psychotic break. As much as she loved running the prison, she knew her and Ari couldn't rule the world behind these walls.
