"It's your choice, but you really shouldn't be wrestling anymore. It's not safe."
Arthur Thomas was being lectured by his new doctor.
"I've been told it's not safe since I've started. It's my passion. Nothing is going to stop me now. Especially not since I've finally been signed to a pro contract! Hell my first match is in less than a week and you're going to tell me not to wrestle? YOU ARE CRAZY."
Arthur wasn't very happy by this doctor.
"Arthur after everything I just told you, how can you think getting in a physical fight is going to end good for you?"
"I'm getting a second opinion."
Arthur started putting his jacket on and walking out the door.
"I'm going to be great, doctor. I'm going to start with a win over Walter Hobbs. He doesn't stand a chance. Nothing you say is going to take this away from me or discourage me from seeing this through!"
Arthur walked out of the room and tried his hardest not to slam the door. He left the building and walked outside.
A person was sitting on the bench just outside.
"Can you believe this place?!" Arthur started talking to them like he knew them, he didn't. "He wants me to just hang up my boots already. I just turned pro!"
"A pro what?"
"A pro wrestler, keep up. I've got my first match today against a guy who is launching himself at the side of his house. I've got to be odds on favourite to win this fight."
"You're a pro wrestler?"
"Didn't I just say that? Anyways, Walter Hobbs probably put this doctor up to telling me to quit. He doesn't want to risk actually fighting me one on one. He knows he'll lose. I'm going to show him. He won't stand a chance!"
"I have no idea what you're talking about."
"What don't you get? On Thursday at The Arena in San Francisco, California is where this is all taking place. How do you not know this? Listen Walter Hobbs is going to be punished for this attempted ruse. No chance he wins now. I'm so mad at this. Getting a doctor to tell me I have a chronic neurological disorder and that I should stop wrestling. How scared can one man be that another is going to beat the hell out of him? Terrible."
"Yeah but what if he didn't and you do have something wrong?"
"Only thing wrong with me is how bad I want to run my head in to your face."
The person sitting there stood up and stumbled away scared by the look in Arthur's eyes.
Arthur couldn't believe what he just did, this isn't him! "Hey, hey! I'm sorry.. Ah man that's not fair. I didn't mean to scare him off. I need to focus my anger towards Walter Hobbs."
With the seat now free Arthur sat down to try and calm down. From one city to another he had never heard of such cowardly tactics from another wrestler.
"On Thursday, June 30th. Walter Hobbs is going to get hobbled. I will show him not to mess with me. I don't need underhanded tactics to win. I'm going to show up, and I'm going to dominate from bell to bell. That will show the rest of the locker room not to mess with me."
