INT. GEORGIA DELISE’S OFFICE – THE ARENA – JUNE 12, 2016
SHAWN DELISE stands in the middle of GEORGIA’S office.
GEORGIA paces back and forth in front of him, and from her movement and expression, she isn’t super thrilled to see her brother at this very moment.
GEORGIA DELISE
“You what!?”
“You what!?”
SHAWN took a seat on the sofa making himself comfortable.
SHAWN DELISE
“I signed some more deals.”
He smirks as he places his right foot on his left knee.
GEORGIA DELISE
“And who authorized you, Shawn,
to make such decisions?”
SHAWN looks at GEORGIA, who had one hand on her hip and was tapping her foot impatiently on the floor.
SHAWN DELISE
“You did.”
“You did.”
He points at her.
GEORGIA DELISE
“Shawn. No, I did not. Remember after
the whole Jack Owyns fiasco; I
revoked your privileges of signing
anybody to a contract. Anybody!”

SHAWN brought his hand to his chin and began scratching his scruffy barely-there beard.
SHAWN DELISE
“Honestly, sis, I just don’t remember
– Oh, wait, yes I do remember you
saying something like that.”

He shrugged.
SHAWN DELISE
“Oops!”
“Oops!”
GEORGIA looks around the room, looking for anything she can throw at her brother. She spots a vase with some roses and walks over and grabs it. GEORGIA winds up and hurls the vase across the room and right at her brother.
SHAWN ducks, and the vase just misses his head, shattering on the wall behind him.
GEORGIA DELISE
“Why are you so hell bent on
destroying us, and this
company that dad has built?”

SHAWN gives his sister a dirty look, but his expression changes quickly.
SHAWN DELISE
“Sis, you've got it all wrong. I’m
not trying to destroy you, dad,
or this company. I love this
company. Why would you ever think
such a thing?”

“Oh, I don’t know Shawn. You’ve
signed a druggie, a drunk, and
an overall loose cannon to be
the commissioner of this promotion.”
“Oh, I don’t know Shawn. You’ve

GEORGIA walks to her desk.
GEORGIA DELISE (CONT’D)
“You signed two females currently
in prison for a long list of
charges.”

She reaches her desk and opens a folder.
GEORGIA DELISE (CONT’D)
“And you signed a Lord Blake, who
has no experience, and you gave
his girlfriend a contract as well,
just because. Tell me, Shawn, if
you were standing here in my shoes
right now, what would you think?”

wouldn’t be standing there whining

GEORGIA is about to respond, but SHAWN holds up his hand to signal he isn’t done.
SHAWN DELISE (CONT'D)
“Hold on, sis; I want to see this
company survive and make a run
at being the top promotion, not
just here in San Francisco but
around the fucking globe. To do
that, you need people like Mondae,
Arianny. Shit sis, I may also have
her brother close to a deal, and
the people like Lord Blake.”

GEORGIA didn’t see it as she is still shaking her head.

“And why’s that?”
SHAWN DELISE
“Do you know who their parents are?”
GEORGIA DELISE
“No! Cut the bullshit, Shawn. I know
you are upset because Dad chose me
to run this company over you.”
SHAWN DELISE
“First of all. I am not, and second,
how can you even sit there and
complain about people I have
signed. Arianny Blake was the
Deathcore champion, and Mondae was
undefeated. Your first two signings,
a Walter Hobbs and a king.”
“And why’s that?”
SHAWN DELISE
“Do you know who their parents are?”
GEORGIA DELISE
“No! Cut the bullshit, Shawn. I know

SHAWN DELISE

GEORGIA looks around the room again, having no comeback to that argument.
SHAWN stands up.
SHAWN DELISE
“How about this? From now on, I
will get your approval when I
have somebody to sign.”

GEORGIA bites her lip.
SHAWN DELISE (CONT'D)
“Deal?”
GEORGIA DELISE
“Fine. That is all I ask, and
no more convicts.”
SHAWN DELISE
“Deal.”

GEORGIA DELISE
“Fine. That is all I ask, and
no more convicts.”
SHAWN DELISE
“Deal.”
SHAWN smirks as he heads for the door.
GEORGIA DELISE
“Shawn, if we work together, we can
bring this company to the place
Dad has always wanted it to be. If
we work together.”

SHAWN places his hands on the doorknob, not looking back at GEORGIA.
SHAWN DELISE
“I agree.”
“I agree.”
He opens the door and walks out.
