FADE IN:
INT. RUNDOWN APARTMENT HALLWAY – SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA – JUNE 15TH, 2016
GEORGIA DELISE steps carefully through a hallway. Heavy smoke lingers in the air, and people lie passed out along the walls. Obviously, we are in some sort of crack shack apartment building. She steps over someone as she looks at each face she passes, obviously looking for somebody.
GEORGIA DELISE
“Excuse me?”
“Excuse me?”
She looks around, to see whether anybody has heard her. Nobody pays any attention as everybody in this hallway has passed out or is super high out of their minds. GEORGIA continues walking.
VOICE
“Hee-low.”
“Hee-low.”
GEORGIA stops and turns in the direction of the voice. A man - ODDBALL - sits up against the wall, and GEORGIA looks like she might actually vomit. She can’t make out whether he’s trying to smile or not. His face has obviously been a punching bag.
GEORGIA DELISE
“Are you okay?”
“Are you okay?”
ODDBALL gives her a thumbs up; obviously, a broken jaw doesn't make it easy to speak.
GEORGIA DELISE
"Have you seen a man by the name
of Jack Owyns here?”
"Have you seen a man by the name
of Jack Owyns here?”
ODDBALL nods and points towards a door. She looks at the door and then back at the very beaten manager of JACK OWYNS.
GEORGIA DELISE
“Thank you. Are you sure you
are okay?”
“Thank you. Are you sure you
are okay?”
ODDBALL nodded.
She gave him a look and then headed down the hallway towards the door he had pointed out to her.
CUT TO:
INT. RUNDOWN APARTMENT – SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA – MOMENTS LATER.
JACK OWYNS sat on the sofa in just his underwear, hovering over a coffee table where he had three nicely cut lines of cocaine laid out on a table. He rolled a dollar bill, put it to his nostril, and snorted back one of the lines.
He fell back into the sofa and let the high rush over him. He closed his eyes and then opened them.
GEORGIA DELISE stood with her arms folded and not looking overly impressed.
JACK OWYNS
“Lookie, lookie fuckin’ here. BOSS!
How you doing, HA!”
“Lookie, lookie fuckin’ here. BOSS!
How you doing, HA!”
GEORGIA scans the room and spots a woman fully nude, laying on her stomach, passed out on a bed. She looks back at JACK.
GEORGIA DELISE
“I see you are keeping it classy as
always Jack.”
“I see you are keeping it classy as
always Jack.”
He smirks.
JACK OWYNS
“Always.”
“Always.”
JACK tosses the dollar bill onto the coffee table and reaches for a pack of cigarettes.
JACK OWYNS
“You outta of place, you know. You're
a long way from fuckin’ home.”
“You outta of place, you know. You're
a long way from fuckin’ home.”
He opens the pack, grabs a cigarette, and places it into his mouth.
Georgia Delise
“Can you please not smoke?”
“Can you please not smoke?”
Jack lights up the cigarette.
Jack Owyns
“Tell me, what is a person like you
doing all the way fuckin’ down
here? You ain’t lost cause you found
me. Oh, is miss boss lady looking
for a fuckin’ hit?”
Georgia Delise
“Umm no. Actually Jack, you’ve blown
off all my attempted meetings with
you since my brother thought it was
such a good idea to hire you.”

Georgia Delise
“Umm no. Actually Jack, you’ve blown
off all my attempted meetings with
you since my brother thought it was
such a good idea to hire you.”
JACK inhaled and then exhaled a cloud of smoke. He smirked.
JACK OWYNS
“Good fuckin’ guy that one is, huh?”
“Good fuckin’ guy that one is, huh?”
There was a bit of sarcasm in JACK'S tone.
GEORGIA DELISE
“Yeah.”
“Yeah.”
She rolled her eyes and walked over to a window.
GEORGIA DELISE (CONT'D)
“I know my brother hired you to help
bring this company and me down.
Don’t play me for stupid.”
“I know my brother hired you to help
bring this company and me down.
Don’t play me for stupid.”
She opened a window to let some air in.
GEORGIA DELISE (CONT'D)
“So I have a proposition for you.”
“So I have a proposition for you.”
She heard the sound of JACK snorting another rail and turned around.
GEORGIA DELISE (CONT'D)
“Seriously?”
“Seriously?”
JACK OWYNS
“What? You in my fuckin’ home, bitch.”
“What? You in my fuckin’ home, bitch.”
GEORGIA closed her eyes and counted in her head before reopening them.
GEORGIA DELISE
“What would it take for me and you
to get on the same page?”
“What would it take for me and you
to get on the same page?”
JACK slouched back on the sofa with a smirk on his face.
GEORGIA DELISE
“Don’t even think about suggesting
that.”
“Don’t even think about suggesting
that.”
He waved that thought off as if he weren’t even thinking it.
JACK OWYNS
“Sicko. Get your mind out of the
fuckin’ gutter, Georgia, HA!”
“Sicko. Get your mind out of the
fuckin’ gutter, Georgia, HA!”
GEORGIA blushed and felt rage almost taking over her.
GEORGIA DELISE
“Tell me what you want Jack.”
JACK OWYNS
“What do I fuckin’ want? What do
I fuckin’ want?”
GEORGIA DELISE
“I’m not here to play games with
you Jack.”
JACK OWYNS
“See, here’s the fuckin’ thing, and
you need to wrap your head around
this shit. You in my fuckin’ house.”
“Tell me what you want Jack.”
JACK OWYNS
“What do I fuckin’ want? What do
I fuckin’ want?”
GEORGIA DELISE
“I’m not here to play games with
you Jack.”
JACK OWYNS
“See, here’s the fuckin’ thing, and
you need to wrap your head around
this shit. You in my fuckin’ house.”
JACK points at the surroundings around them.
JACK OWYNS (CONT'D)
“My fuckin’ rules.”
“My fuckin’ rules.”
He stands up and flicks his cigarette - he doesn’t care about fires - and walks over to where GEORGIA stands. He towers over her, and she looks uncomfortable as she backs up and meets the wall. He leans down toward her face as if he were going in for a kiss, but at the last second, he shifts his head and whispers something into her ear.
JACK leans away from her.
JACK OWYNS
“Now, get the fuck outta here; this
ain’t no place for a rich
bitch, HA!”
“Now, get the fuck outta here; this
ain’t no place for a rich
bitch, HA!”
GEORGIA stares at JACK for a few moments as he walks away and heads back towards the sofa. She makes her way towards the door and stops just before, turning back to JACK, who is back seated on the sofa.
GEORGIA DELISE
“I expect you to be at the office
Monday morning.”
“I expect you to be at the office
Monday morning.”
She opened the door, and before she left, she looked back and gave JACK a once over.
GEORGIA DELISE
“And Jack, dress professionally.”
“And Jack, dress professionally.”
She walked out.
FADE TO BLACK.
