Mr. Vey

FADE IN:

INT. SHAWN DELISE’S APARTMENT – SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA – JULY 4TH, 2016

Shawn DeLise’s apartment is a mess, and for a man who throws around that he is filthy rich, he sure lives in a dive of an apartment.

He sits at his desk in a white muscle shirt and sweats while watching a collage of monitors he has set up. The are directly tied into the mansion he bought for MGM – correction, the company bought for MGM.

He has a devilish smile on his face as he watches Mondae Chaos change inside her room via a secret hidden camera.

SHAWN DELISE
"I'm going to fuck you."

He turns to another monitor, this one featuring Arianny Blake taking a bubble bath.

SHAWN DELISE
"And I'm going to fuck you."

He turns to another monitor, where he sees Dallas Blake. Shawn’s smile drops off his face.

SHAWN DELISE
"Fucking homo!"

He shuts that monitor off.

He returns, taking glances between Arianny and Mondae, as he grabs a rubber tube and ties it tightly around his arm.

He grabs the spoon that is cooking on the burner, liquifying the dose of heroin, and then grabs the empty syringe and sucks up all the liquid drug.

He finds his vein and sticks the needle into his arm.

The world becomes a blur.

CUT TO:

INT. SHAWN DELISE’S APARTMENT – SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA – AN HOUR LATER

Shawn’s eyes shoot open as a bowl of water explodes over his face. He falls out of the chair, making a loud thump as he hits the ground.

He holds his hands up in front of his face; the room is completely dark.

The lights come on.

VOICE 1
Well look who we have here; fuck, we
were starting to think you where
avoiding us.

VOICE 2
"But instead you invite us to come
visit you."

There was a tone of sarcasm in both voices.

SHAWN DELISE
"Ah come on guys, you know me, it's
Shawn; I’d never avoid you."

The two goons step into view.

GOON 1
"See that is what I said but he—"

He points at his partner.

GOON 1
Doesn't think so.

GOON 2
I think the little weasel has been
avoiding us, avoiding the boss
man.

SHAWN DELISE
Never. I just been busy. Haven't you
been watching TV? My company is
just taking off and it has me all
tied up.

GOON 2
Your sister's company.

SHAWN DELISE
“Mine.”

The goons don't like his response and step forward. Don't try to correct two angry goons with a lie. It never ends well.

GOON 1
“Where is the money, Shawn? The boss
man is growing impatient.”

Shawn DeLise is now on his knees, backing up.

SHAWN DELISE
“It's coming, I promise you. Just tell
Mr. Vey I need a little more time,
and I'll have the 500 thousand.”

He puts his hands together.

SHAWN DELISE
“Please!”

GOON 1
“Begging like a bitch.”

GOON 2
“A little pussy.”

The both laugh at the pitiful sight.

GOON 1
“Each week you are late, Mr. Vey adds
interest.”

The second goon walks up to Shawn.

GOON 1
“Don't make us come back and find you
because, next time, Mr. Vey will
order us to start taking fucking
limbs.”

SHAWN DELISE
“Thank you! I promise, no limb taking
will be needed.”

GOON 1
“Whatever.”

Goon 1 looks at the other and nods his head.

Goon 2 drives his fist into Shawn’s face.

Lights out.
