Pasadena, California
The training facility that Miles Larsen has funded is, in reality, a warehouse that he purchased and filled with various training equipment, free weights and a standard-sized wrestling ring. The lighting isn't very bright, but bright enough to film this video obviously. Inside of this gym, several people are dressed casually - one would assume these are the various trainers that Miles has employed to help take care of his Lucha, ZERO. The camera follows Miles as he walks, hands behind his back, with another masked man.
To those very few whom have followed the career of ZERO in Cartel De Lucha Libre would recognize this second masked man as El Rey Suicida ("The Suicide King"). Given that name due to his death-defying jumps and fearless wrestling style, a complete contrast with his partner who, as we know, is a pure technical wrestler with excellent striking and flawless submission work. E.R.S. is dressed comfortably, but in training clothes - still wearing his mask.
"Thank you so much for joining us here in Pasadena, Mister Suicida." Miles said, opening the conversation for the video.
"De nada."
"So I just wanted to pick your brain a little bit. You're here helping ZERO train for the triple threat match he's in on Vendetta, how do you see it helping him? We all know what his strong points are. He can go hold-for-hold with the best in the world, and wrap even elastic bands into a pretzel; but what about the other categories?"
"CERO es uno de los mejores que he entró en el ring con y contra. No tengo más que la fe en sus habilidades para ganar este partido."
"His opponents have a few minor things they excel in over ZERO. For example, Lord's supposed in-ring intelligence. He's been heralded as one of the few guys who is the smartest when it comes to working with his environment. Not taking anything away from ZERO, mind you, but ZERO is not mentioned in the same breath when it comes to that argument."
"La inteligencia no va a cambiar su pobre defensa de sumisión. La inteligencia no va a ayudar a su técnica tampoco. En todas las categorías que va a ganar un partido, el cero es mejor."
"Hm. Lord's aerial agility could benefit him as well, I suppose. It's well documented that ZERO isn't a traditional lucha libre style wrestler, no offense to you of course." Miles nodded to E.R.S. "So I guess in terms of speed and willingness to jump off of things to capitalize on your opponent and the situation the match finds itself in, ZERO is at a bit of a disadvantage there."
"He estado en el ring con CERO suficiente para saber que un error de cualquiera de estos gringos, y cero hacerles pagar."
"But we also cannot forget about Walter Hobbs. His endurance is rather impressive! And that sort of thing is needed in a triple threat match, such as this one. So how do you think ZERO's training with you will help him in endurance? I'm not a personal trainer or anything, but I know running is a sure fire way to do that. Is that what you plan on doing?"
"Él no necesita para funcionar. Una vez CERO marca el ritmo del partido, toda la resistencia en el mundo no va a importar. Él va a controlar todo bien hasta el final."
"Another thing that worries me is Hobbs' submission defense. You know, it's rumored that he can get out of any submission hold? I haven't seen this myself and any research that I do in order to put fact behind this rumor is limited to what he's done here in RSW because he's not a real professional wrestler. So if it is true, then ZERO's submission work isn't going to work against Hobbs. ZERO will have to pull a different trick out of his bag in order to subdue the man from Ho-Ho-Kus, New Jersey."
"Si las comunicaciones no funcionan, CERO acaba de noquear inconsciente. He visto que suceda antes. Su llamativo es sólo segundo a su trabajo sumisión."
That was when Miles finally stopped walking, causing El Rey Suicida to stop as well. Miles turned to face his guest.
"You know something? I have no idea what you have been saying. So. How about we just get in there and train my boy to win at Vendetta."
