SHOOT SATURDAY I
July 9th, 2016 | THE ARENA | SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA
CUT TO: MATCH 1 – BRYCE ALBRIGHT VS RAVEN MACDEMARE – STANDARD MATCH It was another huge mismatch and Bryce Albright planned to use his size and strength to his advantage. The second the bell rang, Albright slammed his huge foot into Raven MacDemare’s face. The fans packed inside The Arena gasped and Albright knew that this was going to be an easy night for him. He dragged Raven over to the corner and pushed her against the turnbuckle. Albright placed her brunette head between the ropes and stepped on the back of her neck. Raven began to choke and thrash but there was nothing she could do to get away. On the outside of the ring, Bryce’s fathager (father/manager, get it?) Wilfred Albright looked super pleased with his son’s brutality against the helpless second-generation star. On the opposite side of the spectrum, Lord Blake looked completely distraught. This shocked no one because no matter what he said during his promos, he would never be okay with Raven getting her ass handed to her. The referee forced Albright to break the illegal choke hold and the 249-pound wrestling technician picked Raven up. He wrapped his arms around her slender body and started crushing her with a massive bear hug. The pain was obvious on her face. Then Albright slammed her into the mat. The fantastic amateur wrestler - who could probably be representing Canada at the Olympics next month instead of competing in RSW - paused for the briefest of moments. He just knew Raven was down and out. A handsome little smirk spread across his face. It was time to start showing off against his much lesser opponent. A few seconds later, Albright capitalized on all the damage done by his superior strength. His version of the crossface chicken wing, “Number One Bitch-Maker”, would surely submit Raven and give him the easy victory. As he went to lock the beauty vlogger into the hold, Lord jumped up on the ring apron. Wilfred and Bryce both looked at Lord. He was arguing with the referee to stop the match so Raven wouldn’t get hurt. As much respect as both Bryce and Wilfred had for Lord, Bryce had zero for Raven. He motioned for Lord to watch what was going to happen next. Thanks to the brief distraction, Raven had managed to catch her breath. When Albright went to grab a handful of her hair, she met him with a vicious slap right to his kisser! Albright released his grip and gave her a look. Raven ran for the ropes and bounced off, but Bryce nearly took her head off with a clothesline. She crumbled and it was actually kind of pathetic. Lord had seen enough. With no towel or white flag to throw in to the ring to stop the match, he did the most noble thing he could think of. He stripped his white Theta Chi T-shirt from his body and waved it in the air. The confused referee just looked at Lord, but when he tossed the shirt into the ring his motive was clear. With little other choice the referee called for the bell. Bryce Albright was declared the winner due to stoppage. WINNER: Winner by Stoppage – BRYCE ALBRIGHT! [05:23] |
CUT TO: MATCH 2 – WALTER HOBBS VS DALLAS BLAKE – STANDARD MATCH Dallas Blake, who is making his official in-ring debut, is looking across at Walter Hobbs with pure disgust. Arianny’s brother is getting some last minute words of wisdom from Frederik The Hairdresser as Walter receives instructions from his manager, Mickey Conway. After the bell rings, Frederik and Mickey take their places on the outside and Walter walks over to Dallas. He extends his hand to the teenager in a friendly gesture of sportsmanship. Dallas replies by kicking Walter in the stomach and hitting him in the face with his knee. Walter stumbles back, grabbing his nose, but luckily there’s no blood. Dallas attacks with a series of solid strikes and throws Walter against the ropes. Walter ducks a clothesline attempt and comes right back, but Dallas is able to lay him out with a kick. He goes for a super quick cover, but there’s no way Walter is done. Dallas rolls his eyes but nonetheless goes back to work. He pulls Hobbs up by the hair and tries to position the older man for a belly-to-belly suplex. Hobbs blocks to the attempt and lifts Dallas up, dropping him with a pretty neat looking back body drop. Walter smiles knowing in his heart that Lana would be proud of his defense. He turns towards Dallas right as the crafty teenager clips Walter in the knee. The New Jersey native ends up on the ground and Dallas goes for a quick “Carter Crossface.” Using his flexibility, Walter slips out of the hold and crawls over the corner. Dallas follows him but is met with a spear. With Dallas down Walter goes for a quick cover. Blakes don't go down that easy. Knowing this, Walter graciously allows Dallas to recover much to the chagrin of everyone watching. Like why? On the outside of the ring, with Raven perched in his lap, shirtless Lord Blake also looks confused. He's at ringside to scout one of his opponent's for Vendetta. He can't help but wonder why is Walter so nice? Dallas gets back to his feet and basically lets Walter know how stupid he thinks the former wrestling coach is. He punctuates this by raking his fingers across Walter’s face and dropping him across the ropes. Dallas motions for the referee to check something for him and that allows Frederik to start choking Walter. Mickey Conway starts hollering at the referee to look behind him and when he finally does, he actually catches Frederik in the act. Immediately he calls for the bell. Walter Hobbs is declared the winner via disqualification and Dallas looks pretty pissed off about it. WINNER: Winner by Disqualification – WALTER HOBBS! [08:34] |
CUT TO: MAIN EVENT – ZƎRO VS ARTHUR THOMAS – STANDARD MATCH Even despite a shirtless Lord Blake and girlfriend, Raven MacDemare, sitting at ringside – ZERO is focused on Arthur Thomas standing across the ring from him. The bell sounds and immediately ZERO is quick on the attack. Closing the gap between the two, he locks Arthur into a grapple only to quickly take him into a headlock, then judo throwing him over his hip and to the mat where he keeps the headlock locked in. Arthur reaches out and kicks his legs, trying to not only grab or even touch the ropes, but to keep his blood circulating. ZERO wrenches the hold in, leaving it applied for a few moments before releasing voluntarily. He watches Thomas return to his feet, which is when ZERO successfully chains together a series of strikes. Chop, punch, chop, right kick to the ribcage, left kick to the outside of the knee. Thomas is weakened and that’s when ZERO takes a few steps back before charging and hitting Thomas with a running double palm thrust to the chest. Thomas falls backward to the mat, rolling into the corner. ZERO didn’t follow through on the attack, even at the urging of Miles Larsen on the outside. ZERO’s head tilted as he watched Thomas pull himself up with help from the ropes, but only to rest against the turnbuckles. His eyes were heavy and before anyone knew it, his narcolepsy hit again. Arthur Thomas was asleep. ZERO waited for a moment to see if he would snap out of it, but eventually marched into the corner, grabbed Thomas’ arm, flipped him over onto the mat with another Judo throw, before dropping with him. In perfect position for Lord Blake to see, ZERO places the face-first Thomas’ arm between his legs and wrenching back on his other arm – successfully locking in his submission, “Maldición de Zero”. Of course Thomas was unresponsive when the referee asked, so he called for the bell. WINNER: Winner by Submission – ZƎRO ! [06:44] |
