"The Most Dangerous Game", part I
Methods of Madness: A little something to start this up.
June 1st, 2016.
Japan.
When Spencer Dane Archer's last wrestling contract ran out, he made a list of all the places he could end up, and all the things he'd be able to do now that he was a free agent again. Sitting in a dimly lit room, in Japan, was not on the list.
In truth, Japan had once been like a second home to him. The place that made him what he is today. The place that made him this...thing you see before you. He promised he'd never come back. But alas, something inside him was driving him even more than the deep feeling of regret he felt for Japan, something that forced him back. So here he sat, twiddling his thumbs and trying to keep his anger from rising. He had never been the kind of guy who waited around, he usually took what he wanted without asking. She knew that, oh did she know that, and that's why she was making him wait on purpose.
You could hear her stilletos upon the floor long before she even got near the door. Penny Dreadful had always enjoyed keeping a spike upon her heel, in case of emergencies. It didn't matter if her enemies could hear her coming up from behind, it never helped them anyway. The flame-haired temptress walked into the room and smirked at the man sitting across from her. Archer had set up a table and two chairs, this made Penny feel special. A whole game set up, just for her. Archer wanted to play, so she'd play.
"Lucky me, you're just the man I wanted to see, Spence." she blew a kiss from across the table.
"Don't call me that, Penny."
"Right, I forgot." She laughed. "What can I do for you, Archer? It must be something mighty important for you to come all the way out here for little ol' me."
"It's not about you, Penny. I simply need you to use your connections with Battle Arts to help me track someone down." He stated with little to no feeling, as if maybe he had asked something like this of her before, and she didn;t have a problem doing it.
"Oh? That all?" She placed her hand on her chin and looked up to the ceiling, "Who?"
"AA.", he muttered in a whisper.
"Oh goody! I'd love for her to join us, she's hot! I'm pretty sure I know her husband though, but I don't care if you don't..."
He sighed, "You know it's not like that, Penny..."
"Oh I see, you want to hurt her. Well I'm okay with that, too..."
"Not you. Me. Only me."
Penny didn't like that answer. She suddenly put on a huge pout face, sinking back into her chair with her arms folded. Archer just continued looking at her through a blank stare. She had a different tactic for trying to control everyone she'd ever met, but she had yet to find the one that worked on Archer. She rolled her eyes.
"Why ask me then? Why not just go through Kei?"
Archer had thought this through, and going through Kei Hideshima would not be the best course of action. The two would, without a doubt, end up in a battle to the death, and even if he did manage to escape alive then he'd have no energy left for his actual target. No, he wanted to save the bloodshed for someone else. He shook his head.
"Well, then maybe I can help you...if you can help me."
Penny got up from her chair and walked across the room, letting her hand slide atop the table the entire time. She tossed her red hair back, getting up close and personal with Archer. She knew he was involved, but that had never stopped her before. However, Archer reached his hands forward like he always does, pushing her back and standing up.
"I'll find her myself, then."
Penny went in for a small kiss, but Archer instantly turned his cheek. He pushed her away, causing her to fall to the ground, before he stormed out of the door. Penny slowly lifted her head up, a look of pure excitement on her face. The only thing she loved more than hurting people herself, was watching other people do it. She could feel the goosebumps on her arms as she thought about it. She knew watching Archer from here on out would be nothing short of pure carnage.
