"Change is now necessary. I have to evolve, I have to be better. Or this dream is over."
The scene comes in looking at the back of a hooded figure in what appears to be a weight room, or a gym of some type. It appears as if the camera is on the other side of the gym while our hooded figure is sitting up facing the back mirrored wall.
"I either make this dream a reality, or I literally keep dreaming. I can't win these fights while I'm asleep actually dreaming. I want this dream to be real. To be more than an event taking place behind closed eyelids. I have to be smarter. Faster. Stronger. Quicker.
"The foundation is now poured for a new Arthur Thomas to dominate RSW. It all starts at the next Vendetta against Hanalei Brightly. Thanks to the help of an amazing fan, I'm now aware of what I need to do. No doctors. No therapists, no caffeine. I show up. I win. I leave. REPEAT."
The camera has gotten closer at this point on the slow zoom. It's clear now that Arthur Thomas has either been swimming in his current outfit or has just gotten done with an intense workout. There's no bodies of water around the scene though so let's hope you can figure it out.
"It may have taken me a few weeks to figure out what I needed to do, but it's clear Hanalei still hasn't figured her own problem out. I'm a changed man, but she's still ugly. I've already got a point in the win column and it's not even the Monday before Vendetta yet. I mean her problem is an undeniable dilemma for her. I hope I don't fall asleep in the ring with her. If that face is the last thing I see before I pass out, I'll have nightmares.
"Petty insults aside, as I begin to make the table for a hearty meal of truth for her, this will not be a good day in the life of Hanalei. But look on the bright-ly side. You're going down, and not in your usual perverted way either! No, this time you'll be going down in history. Whereas normally you'd try to go down on history, but please everyone hop out of the gutter for just a moment as I explain that this will be my first win in the RSW. In other words, HISTORY will be made and Hanalei gets to be a HUGE part of it."
The camera is over his shoulder now. Arthur Thomas is looking in to the glass wall and making eye contact with you. His hood up, just barely reaching the tops of his eyes. You see a focused Arthur Thomas who is ready to take on the world.
"I have the worst of disadvantages. You're more than capable of taking advantage of it. I don't know your weakness Hanalei. I have to still figure this out about you. My weakness has been present since day one for me. Will you take advantage of it? Will I give you time to use it against me? Because that's what this comes down to. A race against time. A race against me falling asleep. I'm either going to beat you in no time, or you'll live long enough to get the easy win over a sleeping imbecile. That's what this really boils down to. You ponder that. You roll that around your pretty little skull for a bit. You sleep on it. I don't really care what you do. The fact is though, I'll walk out of Vendetta a winner, well before I stare at the back of my eyelids this time."
Arthur Thomas lets a small smile slip his lips. He stands up in a hurry and walks out of view of the camera. The results may not change come Vendetta, but this is definitely a different Arthur Thomas.
