Jack and Georgia's silence this week had left her uneasy. She knew that they would not stay away from Vendetta. They had something up their sleeve and Mondae knew she needed a plan. Today was Plan B. With Shawn DeLise in charge of Vendetta this week, she knew that she needed to use him to her advantage. However, the idea of asking Shawn for help made her sick.
Mondae stood outside of Shawn's office. Arianny had always told her that something about him felt off. As Mondae placed her hand on the doorknob she realized that this would be the first time she would be in a room alone with him. Taking a breath the teen reminded herself that she is Mondae Chaos and she fears no one. Turning the knob, she let herself in without knocking. Shawn DeLise sat behind his desk and glanced up. You could see his face twist in disappointment, he probably expected to see Arianny.
They both stood there for a moment staring at each other in disgust. It was no secret that Shawn only tolerated Mondae because of Ari and vice versa.
"What the fuck do you want?" He asked her impatiently. She placed her hands on her hips and glared at him.
"Well since you're running the show this week, I need you to make sure that I advance in the Supreme Championship tournament. If you honestly think your sister and Jack aren't plotting some revenge, you're stupider than you look. So first, I need you to keep them away from the arena and second, I need you to twist the match in my favour. There is no fucking way that I am losing to Lord Blake, the worst wrestler I have ever seen. He is a disgrace to this company and this entire business. The fact that he is undefeated is disgusting. It shows the kind of pathetic company your sister is making RSW. And unless you want your legacy to be a joke, you need to make some changes to the card. You know what the people want to see and that is pure blood and violence. The people want to see me beat his face in with a lead pipe. The people want Lord Blake's blood spilled in Georgia's honour."
"Somehow Lord has faked it through a few real matches against a bunch of sub-par opponents, but I am better than them all in every aspect. I am a technical powerhouse, a submission queen and I can run circles around him. Odds are I could beat him in a standard match, but that's boring. Honestly, I don't care what type of match you make it: hardcore, hell in a cell, first blood. The bloodier the better." She smiles at the thought of it: blood pouring down his face, dripping onto the mat before her. Shawn looks disturbed. "That douche wouldn't know what to do with a hardcore match and that is what I'm banking on."
Of course the queen wanted a hardcore match. Deathcore was her roots. It is where she got her first taste of blood. It is where she discovered that being in complete control of someone else's suffering gave her a sick rush. We have seen that mirrored in her every match in RSW so far. Lord would never understand this. He lives in a bubble where everything is rainbows and gumdrops. This week she would pop that bubble and destroy his entire world. She would show him why he should fear her instead of Archer. He had never faced anyone like Mondae before.
"You're a fucking failure. You couldn't even take care of Georgia. Fucking Ari who can't stand to get her precious hands dirty had to do it for you." Shawn was an arrogant asshole. He left out the part where Jack tried to literally murder her. Just a minor fact.
Mondae stepped closer to him, placing her hands on the desk and leaning to look directly at him. Rage burned behind her dark eyes.
"How about this - Ari is your ultimate prize. Ari wants me to be champ and if you don't do everything in your power to make that happen, you will be the failure. And Ari doesn't fuck failures. So make it happen or I'll make sure she never fucks your sorry ass."
Shawn glared at her but before he could retort she stormed out of his office. He muttered something under his breath but couldn't deny that she had a point.
