[Hanalei Brightly]

"This is pretty fucking awesome." The Head Hunter said as she looked at Jessica Brightly with an effervescent grin on her face. "Come on, you gotta be proud of me. Your little sis is gonna be in a big match."

"I am proud of you, but I don't know if I'm comfortable with you being here." Jessica mumbled, maintaining a stern look on her face as she crossed her arms to her chest. Hanalei let out an annoyed groan and rolled her eyes. Jessica never liked the fact that Hanalei decided to become a professional wrestler, and she definitely wasn't happy that her little sister was working for RSW. To Jessica, all of the wrestlers there were nothing more but maniacal nutcases, and with everything that transpired in the previous weeks, the older Brightly's concern for her sister's safety had been heightened. Hanalei never understood why Jessica was being so paranoid. She was expecting her older sister to be happy, but seeing that Jessica wasn't only made Hanalei annoyed.

"Jess, don't be like this. I'm fine, alright?"

"Fine? Hanalei, this place is fucking crazy! Plus, look at you. You could barely even stand up straight."

"Jess, you're just over exaggerating. I'll heal up right in time for Deception."

"It's not about that, Hana... it's about you potentially risking your life and being in danger. That's why I'm worried."

Hanalei heaved a heavy sigh. It was always like this with Jessica. Sure, she was hurt. She was in some pain, and her right hand was placed on the table that was next to her to help support herself. That spear was vicious, but in the end, Hanalei Brightly walked out as the victor. She was fresh off of her second consecutive win in RSW, and it seemed like Hanalei was on track to becoming one of the top stars in the company. She just wished that Jessica would see the bigger picture and focus on Hanalei potentially winning a championship in her young career.

"Look, that's just how it is. I'm going to get hurt. I'm going to feel sore and there are people who want to break me down. However, the fact of the matter is that I rose above all of that and now I'm going to have a title match at Deception. Can't you just be happy for me? I don't wanna argue with you."

"Hanalei, I'm not convinced. I've seen you nearly destroy your own life before, and I just don't want to witness that again."

The reference to her previous alcoholic lifestyle made Hanalei upset. She frowned, and it was clear that the young woman was angry. All she wanted was for Jessica to be proud of her and not dwell of the negative all the time. Was that so hard to ask?

"You know what? Fuck it. I don't even know why I waste my time trying to get you to be happy for me when you clearly don't give a shit. Whatever."

Hanalei shook her head and placed her hand on her ribs, angrily walking past Jessica. Jessica, who was shocked by her sister's abrupt departure, called out to Hanalei, but she was left being ignored.

Oh boy.

"Ever since day one I've been having my eyes set on changing this company. Ever since day one I made it my mission to rid this place of both the ignorance and the arrogance that continues to plague it. This coming Deception presents the hopeful opportunity of change, as every match can affect how RSW will progress later on. Change is inevitable. Change is necessary, and on the twenty-fifth of August, change will take its course as I will be walking out of The Arena as the new Bay Area Champion."

"You cannot stop what is bound to happen. Everything is already set in motion and the gears are already turning. There's no chance in intervening and trying to prevent what is going to happen as all attempts will just be futile in the end. You'll come to learn that, Jace O' Brien. Even if you may not understand that now or you'll just go out of your way to intentionally ignore everything. Even if my words are falling on death ears right now, you'll experience the truth first hand once we meet in the ring. I know you'll go out of your way to conceal your insecurities and spit out how much of an alpha male you are. I am aware that you need to project your assertiveness whilst coming off as an indomitable individual so that you can validate yourself as someone that can't be broken down. You want to hide any cracks that might show up. You want to be seen as someone that no one should fuck with."

"However, the mighty will fall. The king of his kingdom cannot remain perched up high on his throne for so long. Eventually, an uprising will occur and change will hit you harder than a ton of bricks. You're coming into a match that is uncharted for the likes of you. As much as you like to parade yourself as a mighty lion that can decimate all prey, the hunter will come around and make you feel like a nervous little cub. You can roar all you want and proclaim yourself to be someone that should be intimidating, but I do not fear you. I'll just simply look at you straight in your face without flinching a single muscle in my body. Trust me when I say that I can and I will beat you. Trust me when I say that this type of environment does not bode well for you. Trust me when I say that change will happen. I'm currently undefeated for a reason. When I say that I am going to beat someone, I actually do. My words are the gospel that everyone should spread around and make it be known."

"This spark is going to ignite, transforming into a raging fire on a warpath and it will only get stronger as each match comes by and I emerge victorious. Still, you want to play with the fire and not heed my warning. You want to foolishly think that you can conquer it, but you'll just end up burning yourself in the process. High risk does not equate to high reward, O' Brien. However, high risk does equate to high idiocy."

"The time has come to show to everyone what I'm exactly capable of. The last two matches that I've had saw me coming out with my hand raised, but there's still a lot more that I can do. At Deception, each and every single last one of you will see me rise to capture championship gold. With that kind of platform, I will see to it that this place has a high degree of eminence that will finally bring prestige to this industry. I will use Jace O'Brien as the stepping stone that I need to get to where I want to be, and you will all come to terms with the change that will ensue.
