Project ZERO: The Prologue
The night of August 11th. Was it a sabotage? Miles Larsen, a man who I have entrusted with my career. A man who's hands I have put my livelihood in, asked me to throw the match. To lose purposely to Arianny Blake, someone I could have beaten.
And beating her would have elevated my career to new heights. But Miles Larsen, the man I trust to make decisions on my behalf, promised me there would be something coming to me which I assume was Arianny’s half of the bargain.
Career sabotage or will this actually benefit me? Should I really begin to question my involvement with the Larsen International Co.?
What business did Bryce Albright have in any of this?
I’m told he needed to take out frustrations on Arianny Blake after she cost him a spot in the Supreme Championship tournament. He came down and attacked her while Wilfred came down and attacked Miles. For what reason is unknown to me. But then, Bryce turned his attention to me while I had my back to him. He left me down. He left me unconscious.
He left me maskless.
Officially, my career didn't start in Mexico. I was rather forgettable elsewhere. In Guadalajara, though, I became who I was destined to be. I put on the mask and it became my new identity. I didn't exist as another rookie fresh out of wrestling school anymore.
I was more.
When the Mexican faithfuls saw the mask, they knew instantly who I was and they knew what I was capable of. That mask is my legacy. It represented everything I’ve done in this industry. Tag team champion, Middleweight champion, one of the best to compete in Mexico.
And now here I am.
Maskless and faceless.
Broken and thrown aside.
I’m not finished, though. I was given a second chance at my career when Miles Larsen brought me to San Francisco. Mexico may have rejected me after I broke the arm of their favorite son. San Francisco is my last option left and I’m not going to fade away because Bryce Alright ripped my identity away from me.
It’s time to start a new. It’s time to start over.
ZERO is not dead. ZERO is reborn.
