Before The 08.11.2016 Episode of Vendetta
@the Arena in San Francisco, California
“I have no idea what to expect from this place,” the beautiful Hailey Banks remarked as the scene faded in on Hailey and Aiden Van’t Hoff walking across the parking lot. The new RSW signees had arrived at The Arena together having been invited to witness the show by RSW Vice President Shawn DeLise. Both of them had vested interest in Vendetta that night. Their friends, Lord Blake and Raven MacDemare, were both involved in the semi-finals of the RSW Supreme Championship tournament. Both Aiden and Hailey had their own championship dreams but for now, both were content to sit back and watch their friends kill it inside the ring.
“Blood? Guts? Dead bodies?” Aiden shrugged lazily. Personally, he didn’t give a shit. That was the type of attitude he had. The only thing he wanted to do was get inside the ring and wrestle, and rack up his own personal list of accomplishments. “It’s wrestling, Hail. It’s no different than any other company we could have signed with.”
Hailey touched her hand to Aiden’s arm and stopped them both before they walked in the door. “Have you seen what the Lord and Ravey have gone through since being here? They’ve been beaten, stalked, harassed, and had a total hot psycho threaten to put a bullet in their heads. Like how is this a normal wrestling company?” Aiden thought for a moment and then realized he didn’t have an answer. He simply gave Hailey a wry grin. She responded by rolling her eyes and leading them into The Arena. Aiden followed behind her and shook his head. Hailey really was stacked from behind. He would never not look at her. She was hot.
As they rounded the corner, a flash of blond hair caught Aiden’s eyes. It belonged to a girl he had seen before, a few weeks ago at some sleazy fetish club he had been slinging money in. She was petite and very pretty, and that night she had been dressed in black leather. The girl had looked like some kind of fantasy mistress. Aiden had fantasized about that girl since that night. He had gotten her into the club because she hadn’t been old enough and Aiden was a little surprised to see her here at RSW.
As he passed his mystery blonde, she stopped talking to her raven-haired friend and stared at him. It hit Aiden like a ton of bricks that he knew exactly who his bathroom fantasy actually was. Her face had been familiar but he had been too drunk that night to place her. But seeing Mondae Chaos giving him a death glare made everything so perfectly clear. Arianny Blake had been that girl and Aiden couldn’t stop the smirk from spreading across his face. He winked at The Mean Girls as they passed one another and chuckled to himself. His mystery girl was a teenage sociopath who enjoyed wrecking lives. Typical.

En route to San Fran! Hubby is going to fight for a championship!
“Fuck. My. Life.” Aiden groaned as he looked at the latest social media post courtesy of his fiancee, Maisi Alexander. The fact that the beautiful, buxom blond was on her way to California not only annoyed him, it legitimately made the dashing 22-year old hate his very existence. Maisi had been ruining his life since they were teenagers but there was nothing Aiden could do about it. He was stuck with her for the foreseeable future because their ancestors were manipulative pieces of shit.
Sitting beside Aiden at the hotel bar was Hailey. She and Aiden were attached at the hip. Their friends Lord and Raven were dealing with their own problems, so the two new superstars were giving them space. Hailey tossed back her vodka and cranberry juice cocktail and giggled at Aiden’s disdain for his future wife. “She’s the absolute best!” Hailey’s voice was dripping with pure sarcasm as she signaled for the bartender to bring her another one.
Aiden grumbled into his glass of whiskey and pushed it aside. “The bitch is only showing up to ruin my chances at walking out of Deception with the Absolute Championship. We both know she hates the fact I gave a big fuck you to my pops and turned down the chance to get into the family business. That shit’s not for me, you know?”
Hailey turned to him, a smirk on her face. “What makes you so sure it has to be Maisi that ruins your chance for gold? Didja forget that someone else is in that match as well?” Hailey was referring to herself, of course. Both of them had been pleased to find out that their first match in RSW would be a championship match. Aiden respected Hailey and her abilities inside the ring, but no one would ever be able to tell him that he wasn’t the greatest thing to ever grace the professional wrestling world. “Hail, do yourself a favor and don’t get your hopes up when it comes to winning. My goals for RSW are simple. I plan to become the first triple crown champion which means the Absolute Championship, Bay Area Championship, and Supreme Championship are all coming home with me at some point. I’ll go through you, Lord, Rave, and whoever else on that roster to make sure that happens.”
Hailey didn’t seem bothered by Aiden’s declaration. She had her own goals and aspirations for RSW that she was keeping to herself for the time being. The bartender sat two more drinks down in front of Aiden and Hailey, along with two kamikaze shots. Aiden picked up his. Hailey picked up hers. They turned to one another and touched their glasses together. “To fucking people up,” Aiden said. “To shots, and partying,” Hailey replied. “And to fucking people up.”
“Cheers.”
The two clinked their glasses together, downed their shots, and chased them down with their respective beverages. Aiden Van’t Hoff and Hailey Banks weren’t familiar names for people in RSW, but pretty soon they would join Lord and Raven and The Fraternity would be the only foursome that mattered.
