Deception was quickly approaching, and for the young Hanalei Brightly, she was more than ready for what was in store. She trained diligently, working hard to make sure that she was going to perform at the highest of capabilities. She wasn't someone that anyone shouldn't take seriously, but for Jace O'Brien, he undoubtedly viewed Hanalei to be someone lesser than him. Of course, Hanalei wasn't surprised. She honestly expected that, so when she saw his promo, she couldn't help but to laugh. She was right. Jace was going to take her lightly and claim that he can "decimate" her. It was all too funny for her. It was very amusing to her that her opponent would make such statements that held a lot of weight to them. To Hanalei, they were very bold. She knew that Jace had to continue on with his alpha male charade. She still thought that Jace would take her more seriously, but hey. That's what happens when everyone in RSW were nothing more but egomaniacs.
Her tongue ran over her firey red lips as a smirk graced her face. The blonde that stands before us has an imperturbable smirk on her face and her eyes dart forward - sharp yet still full of emotion. Her eyes seemed to bare a sense of mischief that radiated from them as she twirled the lead pipe that was within her grasp. She just kept on twirling it; her smirk never fading as she chuckled. Behind the woman stood a white wall that was nearly bare. The only thing that broke the sensory deprivation brought on from the blandness was a poster of a man. He bore a rugged look and he clearly looked serious. As the camera focuses on the poster, it was clear to see that the man on the poster was none other than Jace O' Brien. Hanalei Brightly began to pace back and forth as she looked at the poster, eyeing her opponent for Deception.
"I swear to God, I'm like a fucking pyschic. I knew that you were going to say all of that, Jace. You're like an open book that I can easily read. I knew that you were going to carry on with the tough guy bullshit and say how you'll decimate me. I anticipated that. I sensed that. I was able to call that, and guess what? You did just that."
"Because of course you did."
"You simply shrugged off everything that I told you. Instead of intaking my words and letting them digest, you were quick to disregard everything that I told you. You put on your big boy pants and now here you are, casting me off to the side as though I'm going to be nothing more but a lifeless rag doll that will get flung around in our match. You overlooked me. You foolishly think that you can easily destroy me, but you will come to learn that you cannot do that to me. You cannot take a glance at me and automatically assume that this is going to be in your favor. Sure, you do possess things that are superior in comparison to what I have to offer, but that doesn't make this match a one-sided affair. You see, Jace, I'm tough. I'm resilient. I can save up some extra gas to go the extra mile and I will keep on speeding forward. You cannot halt my momentum. You can't make me step on the breaks. There's no question about that. You cannot discredit that. You cannot simply ignore that fact. I can absorb a lot of punishment. Pain doesn't get to me easily. You can hit me all you want, but I will just stand there and laugh right in your motherfucking face while I do so. Your efforts will be in vain as I will outlast you. You won't be able to keep up with me. Couple that with the fact that I'm just faster and more agile than you, and I can easily overwhelm you. You'll crack and fall apart as everything you throw at me will not keep me down. You're too slow. You're not willing to take risks. You're too comfortable and you will be in for a shock once we meet in the ring."
"It's so easy for you to say that you can beat me when you haven't faced me. It's so easy for you to do your quick little research and say that you will have me laid out when you are not used to fighting someone like me. I'm unrelentless, Jace. I can sense any weakness that you have, and trust me, I will find them. I will exploit them. I will systematically break you down limb by limb until you can't throw a punch. I'll beat you to the point where you can't even stand and you'll lay there on the mat, completely helpless as you realize that you fucked up. You're not prepared for this, so stop acting like you know who I am. You're too relaxed, Jace. You're getting a little too cocky for your own good. You're spewing bullshit from your mouth while your brain resides in your ass and that's a damn shame. Your bravado is obstructing any kind of logic that was in your head before."
"I was honestly expecting better from you, Jace O'Brien. I'm disappointed that you have let the arrogance that infects this place manifest within you. Sadly, I knew that you were going to project that kind of attitude. However, I guess that means I'll just have to beat some sense into you and make it be known that you can't be the top dog for so long. You'll get put down and you'll got to sleep. The Head Hunter will get to you and you cannot escape your fate. Everything that is going to happen will happen. It's already sealed, and I am going to be the new Bay Area Champion. There is nothing that you can say or do to change that. Change is an indomitable force that cannot be destroyed, and I will bring forth that change."
"This is not going to be your night. You'll go from being the man to the man that became Hanalei Brightly's victim. My plans will be in action, and you will fall victim to everything that I do to you. You'll go from being the predator..."
All of sudden, Hanalei reached down to pick up a spray can and she popped off the cap to spray its connect out onto the Jace O' Brien poster. She was writing something on it, and once she was done, Hanalei stepped back to reveal the message that was displayed:
PREY
"... To that. The Head Hunter will be on her way to collecting her trophy and adding another name to her body count."
"Because of course I can."
Hanalei turned around and smiled into the camera. A dark, low-tone chuckle passed through her lips as Hanalei winked and walked off. The camera was now solely fixated on the word "PREY" that was on the poster before the scene faded into black.
