Trent Abernathy is worried. He's not one to feel anxious – even in his first match he felt more excited than worried – but as he sits in the spacious living room of Bear's New York home, iPhone in hand, he can't help but feel a surge of nerves at what story he has seen on the front page of Wrestling Worldwide. He glances over to Bear, who is seated in his own armchair, looking over a newspaper. Trent's eyes go back to his phone, then once more to Bear, who has now focussed his attention on his apprentice.
“Is something wrong?” Bear asked, folding up his newspaper to read later.
“No,” Trent replied, feigning a smile. But Bear was more perceptive than that.
“Are you still concerned that I've bitten off more than I can chew with this whole RSW situation?” For the past week, it had been the only thing Trent had talked about. If Bear wasn't more reserved, he would have snapped by now under the weight of Trent's – and everyone else's – worrying. “I don't see the issue with all of this. I'm more than prepared for whatever is thrown at me there. Everyone is acting as if I have no chance.”
“Well...there does seem to be a lot of 'chaos' in that company.” With Bear distracted by RSW, Trent was quick to exit out of the news story on his phone – the one that detailed Derrick Manning's championship win with his new tag team partner.
“I'm aware there's chaos, but that just means I have a new purpose going into the company. RSW needs someone like me, someone who can hopefully sort out the madness that's going on there.” Bear sighed. “Speaking of RSW, I suppose now would be a good time to make some kind of introduction video. It's only polite to say hello to everyone in some way. Now, help me set everything up.”
Trent looked at him as if he had spoken in some kind of alien language. “You can't set it all up on your own?” When Bear flashed him a warning glance, Trent began to elaborate. “I mean, I don't mind helping, I just thought you'd know how to set everything up for videos. How did you do it before?”
Bear looks over his glasses at his apprentice, the lack of amusement evident in his gaze. “I had help before.”
Yes. Bear had Derrick to help with a lot of things, including setting up cameras and tripods for promos. After receiving one more expectant look from Bear, Trent was swift to get to his feet and began to help out with the video set-up.

The scene opens with Bear Reynolds seated in his living room, a large canvas painting of the New York City skyline behind him. Bear's wealth is evident within his living room, from the high-quality armchair he is sitting in to the ornate yet empty photo frames on the mantelpiece. Giving the camera a smile, Bear proceeds to speak.
“Hello. Some of you may know who I am already, but I thought it was only right to formally introduce myself. My name is Bear Reynolds, and I am one of the newest stars of RSW. Previously I have wrestled all over the world: I've held titles in the US, Japan, Canada, Europe, the British Isles...everywhere. Though RSW is certainly something different from what I may be used to. Now, I know what some people will think – I'm not exactly the kind of person who fits into this company. You just have to look at all of the 'extreme' wrestlers here to come to the conclusion that I'm not a perfect fit here. At first, I thought I had been hired to bring some star power and legitimate wrestling to RSW, so you can imagine my confusion when I witnessed all of the madness that has occurred in the company. But then, after surveying and analysing everything that has happened so far in RSW, I can't help but think that this is the right place for me. There is one thing that RSW needs the most right now, something it has been struggling with. And that is control.”
“It's disturbing how unhinged some of the stars of this company are. I know that that is what sells shows – you just have to look at all of the damned deathmatch companies to see proof of that – but I'm amazed by the level of insanity here. So many incidents have happened in this company. Staff and wrestlers have been assaulted, hospitalised, even arrested. It's absurd how out of control people seem to be around here. Which is why I have decided to make it my mission to bring some kind of order to RSW. I want to show you all that you don't need to be over-aggressive, provocative, or in some way 'hardcore' to make an impression. This company doesn't need another hardcore superstar, it doesn't need more drama and craziness. What it needs is a stable person who can lead everyone to something better. Because that's what I see when I look at all of you RSW Superstars. I see people who could be better. And who is more equipped for the job to lead by example than me, the proclaimed 'Ultimate Gentleman'. So that is why I'm here, that's why I'm a good fit for RSW – because I see it's potential to be greater than what it is now. I will prove to all of you that being smart and calm can be just as lethal as being 'extreme', and that traditional wrestling is far more valuable than this shocking hardcore style that some RSW stars seem to be so fond of.”
Bear rises from his seat, hands clasped behind his back as he stares off in what he is clearly trying to make look like some kind of inspirational leader pose.
“RSW, I look forward to showing you my abilities both in and out of the ring. Until next time, stay safe.”
Bear gives the camera one last smile. Fade to black.
