There were no obscure locations or wacky costumes when the camera flickered to life. In fact, the Albright's were in Toronto walking down Bay Street from King. They had heard of some small-time gym chain from Lord Blake and thought they would give this Equinox place a chance. After a grueling workout and a lengthy conversation about football with the front desk manager the Albright's were on their way back to work. Wilfred was about to head home to his loving wife to put down some hardwood flooring (if you know what I mean), while Bryce was heading toward Bay and Gerrard where he worked. That's when out-of-nowhere a man with a camera baseball slid into position and focused on the suit-wearing Albright's.
"You know Samantha, I've got a decent amount of respect for you. You're just a kid coming out of training; you're dealing with a real butt in Zach Knight. Now is your opportunity to make something out of yourself. However, the same issues I have had with Zero over the past few weeks are the same issue I will have with you." Bryce starts off. Wilfred reaches into his suit jacket and pulls out a file folder that couldn't have been there before. Bryce takes it and opens up the folder without looking at it. "It says here you like to use a move you call the Gummy Splash." Bryce turns to Wilfred. "My god she is innocent to the world." He returns his attention to the camera. "Essentially, it is an imploding Senton Bomb. Let's continue looking through the file." Again he does not tear his eyes away from the camera. "You also use a hurricanrana, springboard corkscrew arm drag, headscissors takedown, multiple shooting star presses, a sunset flip, and a springboard bulldog. All of these moves are high flying moves; which is why we will not get along. My issue with Zero is his promotion of high risk moves that will lead the children to try them at home and break their necks. Unlike Kurt Angle, they will not be winning any gold medals with their broken freaking necks. Instead, they may never realize their dream of becoming wrestlers because of people like you and Zero. I said I respect you; certainly I respect you more than I do Zero, or even our other opponent Aiden't Van Hoff. I respect you for taking three years of your life to train. I understand what that is like. This may be my first year of wrestling professionally, but I have wrestled for ten-plus years. I understand how much work goes into that training. However, I cannot condone your wrestling style."
Bryce snaps closed the folder and hands it off to Wilfred without breaking eye contact with the camera. "Hunny, what he is trying to say is that you have a lot of potential that currently you are wasting. You run the risk of having your career cut short due to your style. That is where we come in. Samantha, we are giving you one match to impress us. You will not beat Bryce Albright, but you have the chance to impress him. You have a chance to cement your place in the Bryce Empire with one match. You can still be yourself, just working safer and working smarter."
"Don't think for a second, though, that I will beat you simply because I am better than you. No, at this point I will defeat you in this three way because it means to darn much to me to lose. You're a smart girl; and don't forget what happens one week after it happens like Jace O'Brain. I'm sure you remember Deception when I defeated seven people to become the Absolute Champion." He pulls the title out from under the suit jacket, right around the waste. It couldn't have been there before. "Seven people I had to beat to get this; Jace only had one to beat. I did it better than he did. Now I have to face at least three other people on my way to face him. See Samantha, Jace told me I don't deserve a shot at his title, but I will have to face tenfold the amount of people he did in order to win that Bay Area Championship of his. I already deserve a shot at that title, but he's making me work for it and getting into everyone's ear about how I don't deserve it. So I have to win. Sorry."
