This takes place before Issak’s roleplay

Miles Larsen lays in the hospital bed, leg wrapped in a cast and obviously in a great deal of pain. The doctors have done everything they could so now it was time for discharge and to rest at home.

Home. Exactly where he should be, not only for his health's sake for recovery, but because of Shawn DeLise. He’s threatened Miles’ clients with termination if Miles should step on the premises of the Arena. Miles looked up at Lauren Parker who folded his suit jacket over her arm. “Lauren, please have a cab ready to drive to the airport. We’re going to Pasadena in order to prepare for Vendetta.” She stared at him blankly. “Um. What? Miles, no you can’t go back to the Arena. If you show up, everything we’ve worked for will be gone.”

Miles didn’t look exactly happy at Lauren’s retaliation. “Lauren, I hope you don’t take offense to this - but the Larsen International Inc is my organization. I’m not going to let Shawn DeLise or anyone bully me into doing what they want. If he wants to terminate my clients contracts, then by all means - go ahead. I will sue him and this entire company for everything that we’ve been through - not to mention press charges for assault with a deadly weapon. Shawn DeLise will…”

Lauren’s sigh stops Miles. “Miles, Just for a second let’s think of Issak and ZERO, please? They’re both going into this contendership match with a lot of things on their shoulders. It’s a Japanese Deathmatch, a match that neither man has experience in, or wants to even take part in. And then you add Bryce Albright as the special referee and it makes for one stressful night for everyone involved. I think the last thing they need right now is you coming to the Arena and getting them fired.”

“Besides. Your leg is in a cast, Shawn almost shattered your knee, and Bryce attacking you didn’t do you any favors. So with you not at the Arena will not only save their jobs in RSW, it will finally let ZERO get his hands on Bryce. ZERO has already taken this little rivalry personally, Miles, and with the attack on you - it’s gotten that much worse. So please, just take the time off. Rest and get better for when you’re allowed to come back.”

Miles remained seated on the foot of the bed. His head lowered as he listened to Lauren. “Lauren, I don’t know if I can miss the opportunity to be ringside for this match. You have two of the most talented wrestlers on the roster going head to head for the opportunity for the Absolute championship. Issak’s stronger, ZERO’s strikes are deadlier. Issak’s technique is untouchable, and ZERO is a flawless submissionist. This match stands out from the rest of the matches on October Sixth and not because of the amount of sheer talent in the match, but because of the drive these two have to face Bryce Albright for that Championship. This is the culmination of everything I’ve put together, Lauren. And now I’m expected by you and DeLise to stay away?”

Miles pushed himself verticle, his face twisting to show the agonizing pain he was currently in. He put his weight on his uncasted leg, reaching out for his crutches. “Lauren. Have the plane ready for takeoff to Pasadena, the Larsen International group has a lot of planning and preparation ahead of this match at Vendetta. One of them is guaranteed to move on to face Bryce Albright. We have to make sure the right one advances..”

With the assistance of the crutches, Miles exits the hospital room in order to sign the appropriate paperwork. Lauren watches him leave, and sighs a heavy sigh. She knew arguing with Miles would lead to no where. She was going to have to figure out another way in order make this work for everyone. Miles was going back to Pasadena and expected Issak and ZERO to meet there. If Miles had his way, he was going to be at the Arena for Vendetta. It wasn't smart, but Miles was as stubborn as they come. Miles didn't back down from Bryce Albright, and he wasn't going to against Shawn DeLise. But there was no choice to make. Lauren looked up having the idea. “ZERO.”
