“Yeah… she is pretty cool.”
Zachary Knight is sitting in a booth as a diner, sitting next to him is another male roughly the same age but nowhere near the peak physical condition.
“So man, you catchin’ feels for the girl?”
“Nah, man. It ain’t like that. She is chill. I mean, I wouldn’t kick her out of bed for crumbs.”
“Ahhh! My boy!”
“But nah. We are juss gettin’ to know each other an’ stuff.”
“Alright, man. Got you. But don’t think I ain’t stupid.”
Zach nods at his friend, their food arrives. Greasy burgers from a waitress that looks like she could be their grandmother.
“One double no pickles; and one triple, extra bacon.”
She places their food in front of them and heads back into the kitchen.
“So a tables match… you even been in one of those?”
Zachary takes a large bite, and looks up talking with a half full mouth.
“Nah bro. But I got this. This is my time, man.”
“Good. Wouldn’t want my and the boys to rag on ya.”
“Never. But man, do I miss this. Two in the morning burgers; they help to sober ya up.”
“Completely. Glad we were able to hang. It’s been too long.”
“Agreed. I decided to do my own thing for a change; my ma always was bringing me down. No more. This is my time to do whatever I want. Period.”
The two of them nod as they continue their meal.

“Cruz… Cruz… Cruz… you are just one man. You are not some unstoppable force. And yet, you feel as though this is your time to shine. The bright lights of Hollywood are not enough to allow you to outshine me. I’ve come into Ready.Set.Wrestle with one goal in mind; to win. I’ve done just that in my debut. And then last week I was screwed out of a win. It took a cheating Van Zant and a blind referee to take me down; how pathetic. But this is a new week, and a new match. While a tables match is not the definition of a skilled match, I still plan on taking it to Cruz.”
Zachary Knight sits on the bare floor of a nearly empty home.
“I’ve said it since day one of signing my contract… those that stand in my way may slow me down but they will not deter me from my end goal. The ultimate goal is to hold gold in this company, and gold I shall have. If I have to destroy those set in front of me, than so be it. I’ve come in as a legacy athlete, but if the job calls for me to get my hands dirty and to put another man through the hard wood of a table I will simply get the job done. Do whatever you decide to do, RSW brass, because it is not going to stop me or hold me back from my own personal goals. I might have come here for reasons that led me down a dark path that I did not truly want, but I am here ready to lead the company by example nonetheless. My own family and history aside, the time's right for me to prove myself to the roster and to myself. I’ve said plenty, and now it is time to truly back it all up. Cruz has no clue what he’s gotten himself into… but it does not spell anything good for him. Just close your eyes and wait for the pain to be over, Cruz, because you have zero chance in this match. It is earmarked for a Zachary Knight win. And that is the only possible outcome.”
Zachary pushes up to his feet as he grabs a box and opens it. He grabs out a book full of pictures and slowly turns page to page.
“Things can change in the blink of an eye. Just like your career, Cruz. You see yourself as this champion but it is simply not meant to be. I’ve worked my ass off to get here, and I won’t be having some buzzword repeating chump stealing my thunder. Say what you need to say, get the fans all riled up. When our match is over, it will be my hand that is raised and your body put through a table.”
