Paris was beautiful this time of year. Arianny had sent the DeLise private jet back to San Franscisco with instructions to take Mondae immediately to Paris. Mondae had some MGM business to take care of. The Queen was sitting on a patio outside of a small cafe, sipping on an iced coffee. A sour-faced Dallas Blake sat across from her, his arms folded across his chest. The raven-haired bitch wore a pair of black skinny jeans and a leather jacked was wrapped tightly around her perfect figure. Her combat-boot clad feet were tucked under her chair, her face twisted in disgust.
"I'm here to clean up your mess, Dallas. I expect a little more gratitude than this." As usual, Dallas couldn't handle anything himself. He was just like Raven. Left to his own devices, he was useless.
"You're cleaning up your own mess," he spat back. This all lead back to what happened with Braydon Knox.
"Just be glad I even came. You abandoned us. You abandoned Ari and that is fucking inexcusable. Practice some goddamn modesty and realize that you crushed her and once again we are swooping in to save your ass when you don't deserve it." Being disloyal was a big no-no to MGM. Dallas was Ari's twin, the one person who was supposed to always be there for her other than Mondae, and he just left. What a dick move. "I have more important things to focus on this week than your bullshit. Your sister got married to Satan last week and we are about to finally end Lovey. That should be my focus."
The twin let out a scoff and it took everything not to reach across the table and smack him.
"You guys never should have gotten into bed with Shawn DeLise. This isn't going to end well."
"Ari has Shawn wrapped around her finger. She made the card this week. I get to face Raven all alone in a street fight and she is going to take on Lord Blake and I'll be there every step of the way. We are going to put the final nail in Lovey's coffin and I am going to get the shot I have been promised over and over again but continually get screwed out of. Lovey does not deserve to be here and when we dominate them this week, the world will finally realize who the true second generation superstars are. Lovey are simply second generation losers, set on disgracing their parents legacies. At Scream Fest, I will take what is rightfully mine. Vendetta is the first step in the right direction."
Rolling his eyes casually, Dallas took a sip of his cappuccino. "You know, Lord did beat Archer fairly for the belt. And technically Raven has a win over you at last Vendetta."
The murderess slammed her coffee cup down onto the table in a fit of rage. If he wasn't Ari's twin Mondae would have snapped his neck.
"Technically, Raven has more wins than you do so you're lucky we even associate with you. You are just like Raven; The side piece to the main attraction. You pale in comparison. No one cares about Dallas Blake. You just kind of exist, like Raven. She clings to Lord's arm because he is the only reason she has a contract. She didn't get hired based on talent." Dallas frowned.
"Lord is a fluke champion and this week Ari and I will do what we do best: Win! Because technically I have never had a fair shot at the belt and technically, Lord has never pinned me fairly. This week he pinned Emma, not me or Jace. I didn't lose."
She paused, taking a deep breath before smirking.
"It isn't often that I can say that I have more experience than my opponent or that I am bigger than them. But along with being technically superior, it all applies. It will be almost too easy to throw Raven around, overpower her and beat her to a pulp. This match is my wheelhouse. It is where I excel, it is where I was born and bred. She doesn't belong in a street fight."
"And instead of having the relaxing week your sister promised me, I am stuck here dealing with you. So get in line and shut up for once."
Taking another sip of her coffee, Dallas let out a sigh. He had nothing left to say. Mondae was right and now he needed her to fix everything.
