DESCRIPTION OF PERSONALITY: Maddie is a peculiar kind of person. She's friendly and sociable, but never trusts anyone around her. She's generally not a very serious person, and would rather see the fun side of life than focus on the negative. However, she can also be very defensive; often resulting in the aggressive and paranoid side of her coming out. She's spent so long experiencing the worst in the people, that she's always looking out for their ulterior motive - regardless of whether they have one or not. She rarely vocalises her inner - often dark - thoughts, so chooses to project a happy exterior instead.

IN-RING STRENGTHS:
Speed - She's fast, very fast. She may not be the most powerful but she'll strike before her opponent does most times, which is particularly dangerous for her opponent if weapons are involved.
Endurance - She's had to endure a lot in life, emotionally and physically. It takes a lot to keep her down.
Unpredictability - It's hard to know what's running through Maddie's head sometimes, and if she's doesn't know what her plan is, then her opponent most definitely won't. It's hard to prepare for that.

IN-RING WEAKNESSES:
Strength - She's 5'6 and 127lbs, she's not strong enough to be throwing men around a ring.
Submission - As a result of her small frame, she finds it difficult to lock in submission and keep them there.
Unpredictability - As much as it is a strength, it is also a weakness. She often walks into things without a plan, which can cause her problems when facing a very experienced wrestler.

She's fairly focused and aggressive. Her life essentially depends on it, which means her desperation can show at times.

B I O G R A P H Y

Maddie grew up in Kent in England. Her parents had the big house, the fancy car, the wonderful clothes and those picture perfect smiles - so of course they were miserable. What looked like the wonderfully idyllic household was in fact the stuff of nightmares. Her father beat her mother fairly regular. Sure, they'd have a couple of months where they were almost the painted picture but one - completely innocent - look shared between her mother and a man in the street brought an abrupt end to that. Maddie would wake up in the middle of the night to her mother screaming which would then be followed by her father telling her to pack her bags. However, before they would leave, he would apologise and swear it would never happen again.

This was a regular cycle until Maddie was 12 years old. Her mother had finally had enough and realised that if she didn't leave, she'd lose her daughter who was quickly growing older, wiser and resentful. They packed while he was at work and left, headed to the States and never looked back. Times were tough but they were almost happy. That was until Maddie turned 15 and her mother became sick. The whole thing was a blur and before six months had past, her mother was gone. There was rent to be paid, bills overdue and Maddie didn't have anywhere to turn - so she left. She packed her life in a bag one last time and set off to discover the world around her. Since then she has spent her time either sleeping in the street, hostels where possible and the occasional train station toilet. Every couple of weeks she would move, refusing to make any ties at the risk of being left once again.

Most recently she found herself in San Fransisco at a local woman's shelter. The hostel manager, Sandra Lockhart, took Maddie for younger initially which is what sparked her interest. Upon learning Maddie's true age and her troubles she became determined to help. Maddie is able to stay at the shelter most nights. In an effort to try and keep Maddie settled and try and build a life for herself, Sandra directed her to RSW. She knew Maddie had been fascinated with the sport and had been training all over in any gyms that would allow her a 'try before you buy' offer. The hostels sponsored a lot of self defence classes for vulnerable women and Maddie had attended every single one. That combined with a lot of free time to practice meant that her technique wasn't the best but she wasn't afraid to push herself anyway.
