"Yeah, I'm coming. I just have to go back home and freshen up a bit. I kinda reek right now."
Hanalei Brightly, having her cell phone by her ear, then smelled underneath her armpits and shuddered in disgust. She shook her head as she tried to get the wretched scent of her own B.O. out of her nostrils.
"If Bear arrives before me, just tell him that I'll be there. Don't wanna leave him hanging, you know? Alright, I gotta go. Adios!"
She then hung up and tossed the phone to the side as she started up the engine of her car. Once the car was completely on, Hanalei then began to drive off. As she was driving she spoke to the camera that was on the dashboard recording her. She maintained her gaze on the road because, you know... bitches aren't trying to die in a car crash today. Her skin glistened with sweat and it was clear to see that she had been leaving the gym where she typically trained at.
"You know, Zammi, it seems like the two of you are getting things mixed up here. Both of you seem to be under this impression that Bear and I have no passion or drive for our upcoming match, which couldn't be farther from the truth. After all, if that was the case, we wouldn't be mentioning the two of you at all. In reality though, Bear and I are focused on this match. Our hearts are in this. As Bear eloquently explained in his promo, our passion to change the RSW for the better continues on inside the ring. However, you two seem to think that Bear and I are devaluing you guys and discrediting the two of you as wrestlers. I have to admit that I am baffled by this assumption, because I can't see where you two are coming from with such a wildly unreasonable idea."
Hanalei sighed and shook her head.
"Yes, Bear and I are fixated on advancing the goals of The Revolution. However, that doesn't mean that we're completely ignoring you guys. Hell, I think the two of you are talented. I've openly stated that, but - ironically enough - it seems like you are the ones who are ignoring us. In fact, we are looking forward to this match because Bear and I know that potentially winning this one is very important. After all, Bear and I haven't been exactly steamrolling the competition as of late, and admittedly, it does make us look a little weak. I can openly admit that to the two of you, and I'm not ashamed to point that out. We know how important a win here can greatly benefit us and so we are prepared more than ever before for this match. In fact, I think Bear and I are more focused and composed for this match than the two of you."
"Both of you are really good. I honestly do think highly of you, but there are a few things that Bear and I have going for us rather than against us. For starters, Bear and I have more experience in a tag team match than you two. Besides, Zach, I don't think you're too particularly fond of tag team matches. In addition, Bear is by far the most technically superior wrestler here in RSW. Speed and agility are your more stronger assets, but what's going to happen when Bear gets a hold of either of you and takes away those attributes? Especially you, Sammi. You're more frantic than methodical, so once your limbs have been systematically deconstructed, then there's not a whole lot of wiggle room for you. Then you have me: a woman who can hit hard and can go the distance. I'm the most resilient out of any wrestler here. Guess all those years of having liquor in my system has hardened me up."
The young woman chuckled.
"Basically, the whole point is that it's going to take a lot more than a few holds to break me down completely. Jace O'Brein had to drop me on a pile of chairs in order to get the job done. Then there was last Vendetta, where MGM came out and knocked me out with the tag belts that they awarded themselves to."
Finally reaching the apartment, Hanalei parked the car and took out her keys.
"Well, I gotta go now. Can't go the rally looking like a mess. Talk to you two later!"
